This 2.5-minute meditation focuses on sleep and relaxation. Affirmations are words or phrases, repeated either silently or out loud, that can alter the way you think about yourself and your life; turning negative thought patterns into positive ones. A few of the benefits of daily affirmations include; boost self-esteem, relieve stress, motivation, self-love, and pain relief. Affirmations are easy to do, and I encourage you to do them often to see the positive changes unfold.

I invite you to find a space where you can be comfortable and lie down,

Perhaps in your bed as you are getting ready to sleep for the night.

Gently close your eyes.

Take a long,

Deep breath in and exhale all the way out.

Let's do this one more time.

Inhale and exhale.

Repeat these affirmations either to yourself or out loud and let them sink in and resonate.

I enjoy sleeping.

My body and mind are relaxed.

I am thankful for today.

I release any tension from the day.

I let go of worry.

I choose calm.

There is nothing I need to do right now other than relax.

I breathe deeply.

I look forward to sleeping each night.

It is easy for me to fall asleep.

I sleep soundly through the night.

My body and mind are restored while I sleep.

Sleep is good for me.

I wake up feeling refreshed in the morning.

I enjoy sleeping.

Sleep comes easily.

And so it is.
