Before you go into your next meeting,
I wonder if you can just pause for a moment,
Finding that space.
Most people don't do that.
What they do,
They carry the last conversation straight into the next one.
And that's usually where things start to tighten.
Muscles in the body.
Tight and rigid thinking.
So,
Just take a second,
Notice where your head is.
Are you still thinking about the last task?
Are you already jumping ahead,
Preparing everything,
Getting things ready?
You don't need to fix that.
Just recognise it.
See it happening.
But we don't have to take part.
And now just ask yourself one simple question.
What actually matters in this next conversation?
Not everything.
Just one or two things that need to be clear.
That's usually enough.
Because,
When you go in trying to hold everything,
You lose clarity.
When you go in with one or two clear points,
You tend to think better,
Listen better,
More open,
Responding.
So carry that in with you.
Not perfection.
Just clarity.
