Taking a few deeper breaths before settling into a more gentle equal breathing pattern using counting three or four on the in-breath or perhaps your own phrase breathing out breathing out and getting curious about how you are breathing and how it is to slowly allow the body to do the breathing for you allowing time and space and space to allow the breath to settle and waiting for the natural bodily reactions to commence the in-breath a gentle holding on the in-breath and just when it feels the right moment to let go of the out-breath really noticing how the body can loosen and soften as you do that breathing out and letting go breathing out and letting go breathing out and letting go breathing out breathing out so perhaps bringing awareness of breathing and the body slowing down softening soothing until we can become a little more aware of the body on the floor a cushion a seat or a chair and allowing ourselves to just give in to the support of our seat maintaining an upright posture without too much effort and on the out-breath helping to move our awareness to the outside of the body and the space around us perhaps awareness of the temperature in our space maybe aware of clothing around our bodies and if we can allow ourselves to just let go or surrender ourselves to this moment with awareness expanding into the space around us so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so
