Please be seated with a straight spine and a soft front.
Rest the hands on your lap and breathe comfortably through the nose.
I invite you to shed layers of tension as I count us down from five to one.
Five,
Relax the muscles.
Four,
Let go of what's on your mind.
Three,
Soften the face.
Two,
Sink into the sit bones.
One,
Feel the whole body heavy and relaxed.
On your next inhale,
Observe the body fill up from belly,
Ribs to chest.
Exhale,
Observe the body empty from chest,
Ribs to belly.
Inhale,
Belly,
Ribs,
Chest.
Exhale,
Chest,
Ribs,
Belly.
Without controlling anything,
Simply follow the breath up and down the body.
Now feel the point of contact between your body and the surface beneath you.
Take a moment to tune into this connection.
Now imagine that you're a flower,
Plant,
Or tree rooted into the earth below.
Below you is the earth,
Above you is the sun.
On your next inhale,
Draw up the earth's energy into the belly,
Chest,
Head.
On the exhale,
Absorb the sun's energy through the head,
Chest,
Belly.
Inhale,
Feel the earth's energy travel up the body.
Exhale,
Feel the sunlight cascade down the body.
Feel the earth's nutrients and the sun's golden light circulate within you.
Each breath nourishes every cell in your body,
Allowing you to grow and expand with ease.
With each breath,
Grow taller,
Expand outwards,
Unfurl,
Open,
And bloom.
You know exactly how to grow and bloom.
This intelligence is already within you.
Sometimes it can feel like we're at a standstill or even falling behind,
But you are growing,
You are expanding.
Breathe with life and trust that every moment is guiding you towards your growth.
Now release your focus and relax your awareness.
Place both hands over the heart space and I invite you to repeat after me.
