Hello and welcome.

My name is Jess King and this meditation will be all about releasing any unwanted thoughts,

Any negative sort of energies,

Anything that is taking you away from living your best life,

Feeling your best.

It's gonna be all about releasing.

So before we begin just take a moment maybe close the door,

Close the window,

Draw the blind,

Do something to your space to just make it absolutely as calm as possible.

Feel free to grab a blanket or a pillow.

You may do this meditation lying down on your back.

If you do so please place your palms face up toward the sky open to receive,

Keeping your shoulders as close to that floor as possible or feel free to sit with your legs crossed on a meditation cushion or any cushion or in a chair with the bottoms of your feet flat on the ground.

I'm joining you recording this from a rooftop so if there's any outside noise just sort of let it go sort of like life right?

Find that position and gently close your eyes and with your eyes closed begin to observe how you are breathing right now.

Are you breathing in fully?

Are you breathing in just like 20% without changing it just sort of notice,

Observe your breath.

Are you breathing in through your nose?

Are you breathing in through your mouth?

Sort of notice what's happening naturally without judgment and to begin this meditation together we're gonna take three deep breaths gently breathing this time in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Gently breathe in all the way through your nose,

Breathe into your belly filling up.

Hold it for just a moment at the top and then exhale noticing your body relax your shoulders your hips and again gently deep breath in through the nose breathe into your belly feel that expansion in your heart and lungs as you breathe in holding it at the top just a moment and exhale feeling the muscles in your body becoming more soft with each breath and one more time together let's take a deep breath in through the nose filling up filling up holding at the top for just a moment and exhale and begin following your breath as we've been breathing in through the nose and out through your mouth.

You can feel all of the energy within you around you any wandering thoughts just notice everything sort of vanish as you begin following that path of air in through your nose and out through your mouth notice your body relaxing tension being relieved with each breath out breathing out any tension breathing out any source of stress and as you begin following your breath in let's gently visualize a light visualize a light like a ball of energy it can be any color it could be clear white yellow blue any color at all just visualize this color and as you breathe and visualize this color of light coming in through your nose follow that path coming in through your nose all the way up to the crown of your head inside of you down your throat into your heart and lungs feeling them expand and as that expansion happens that light glows radiates this glorious radiant light within you with each breath in filling up and with each breath out surrendering surrendering to this moment and feeling this light building inside of you connecting with the light within you and as you hear those church bells allow that glorious energy to pass through you filling you with a deep sense of calm you may hear the birds I'm here on a rooftop just allow this passing of energy this flow this light this fluid energy to pass inside of you expanding in your heart and lungs and releasing through you as you exhale so that with each breath you are dissolving all tension you are letting go of any anxiety within you of any fear any self-doubt you're allowing that light to dissolve any emotions any thoughts that are causing you any sort of trouble that are interfering with your happiness as you continue following your breath in and out as we are all living through an extraordinary time this beginning I'm recording this very early 2022 this new year we've all been through a lot we are more united than ever despite how things may appear and as you breathe in and as you breathe out let's focus on this cleansing energy how through following our breath we can expand this sensation of cleansing tapping into our light inside and allowing the light around us and within us to become one and allowing everything else all of those illusions to just dissipate with each breath out and if you feel this time and most of us are even consciously and unconsciously if you may be holding on to the energy of someone you care about could be a loved one it could be someone who you don't know maybe an incident that happened something that triggered you it's really up to you anyone whose energy you may be holding on to today even positive energy that might sound silly but we really want to keep our energy in our aura clean and radiate that inner light from within so with these next three breaths if there's someone whose name whose image popped up in your mind of the energy of someone you'd like to let go of with these next three breaths let's continue breathing in that light and that light may have changed color perhaps you're picturing the Sun breathing in the Sun solar energy whatever comes up for you go where you're guided and with these next three breaths let's breathe in this cleansing energy feel it coming in through the nose again filling up and exhale dissolving that feeling that dissolving any tension between you and someone else any energy within your aura that is not yours and let's do that again deep breath in and release exhale let that go and one more time just like that deep breath in receiving that and dissolving letting go allowing that lights that peaceful energy to remain and notice how that feels in your physical body you're reminding yourself you can do that at any point during the day certainly don't need me but you can always find me here on insight timer and just taking these breaths and consciously letting go of what does not serve us deciding to focus on our positive thoughts allowing whatever to come up to come up to happen without judgment observing those feelings and letting them go returning to this beautiful space of tranquility in our peace in our light soul connection and I'll keep today's meditation brief thank you so much for joining to close today's meditation let's let's close with three deep breaths together just focusing on breath breathing in and releasing that and two more times at your own pace feeling that release surrender connection and one more deep breath just like that take your time if you have more time and feel free to continue and if it's time to awaken just go ahead and can gently move your joints maybe your ankles or shoulders maybe take a stretch do whatever feels right to reawaken to the world around us and may this day or this evening be absolutely fabulous for you filled with peace may you take this energy with you throughout knowing it's always inside of you thank you so much for your time I hope my voice is not too raspy I'm on day five of kovat but hopefully hopefully by the
