Transcript

Make yourself comfortable in a position where your spine is upright but not rigid.

Maybe in a chair or with your legs crossed on the floor.

Anywhere you feel relaxed but supported.

Your hands settled in your lap,

On your knees or by your side.

Your shoulders nice and relaxed.

Take this moment just for you.

A moment to pause,

Re-energise and rejuvenate.

Taking a break away from the busyness of everyday life,

To-do lists,

Household chores and responsibilities.

Bring your attention inward to your breath.

Bring attention to the path your breath takes as it moves in through your nostrils.

Feel your breath flowing in and down.

Feel it filling and opening up your chest.

Opening up through your heart space.

Feel your rib cage expand and contract with each breath you take.

Letting your belly soften completely.

Take a deep breath in through your nose.

And slowly release the breath back out through your nose.

Take a deep breath in,

This time holding the breath at the top.

And then slowly exhale.

Take in another breath through your nose,

Holding the breath.

And then slowly exhaling out.

Continue breathing in and out through your nose at a pace or rhythm that feels good for you.

Let go of any need to control your thoughts.

And know that this time is just for you.

There is nothing else you need to be doing right now in this moment.

If you find your mind starts to wander off during this meditation,

Simply release your attachment to any thoughts or distractions.

And bring your focus back to your breath without any judgement.

With each breath feel your body becoming more and more relaxed.

Feel yourself becoming lighter and lighter.

Imagine now that there is a bright lavender light shining down from directly above you.

See this light getting brighter and brighter.

Imagine this light flowing down towards you.

Pouring in through the top of your head.

Let this light illuminate your head completely.

Noticing that as it fills you begin to feel more and more alive,

More vibrant,

More energised.

Let this light continue to move down your neck and over your shoulders.

Clearing out any stress,

Pain or tiredness as it travels down over your body.

Feel it clearing out anything that is making you feel heavy or weighing you down.

Leaving you instead with a warm,

Vibrating energy.

Feeling strong,

Recharged and filled with vitality.

See this lavender light flow down your arms until it reaches your fingertips.

See it fill your chest,

Your belly,

Down over your hips.

As it fills you feel more and more awake,

More alive,

More vibrant.

See this light continue to flow down over your legs and your feet until it reaches the very tips of your toes.

Feel your whole body pulsing with this warm,

Vibrant energy.

Pulsing with health and vitality.

Imagine your light filled body glowing brighter and brighter now.

Imagine the lavender glow turning into a bright,

Vibrant white light.

With each breath you take,

Feel this energy,

This vibrance growing stronger and stronger.

Dissolving away any stress,

Any tiredness,

Anything that is weighing you down or holding you back.

With each breath notice yourself feeling more and more alive,

More energized,

More awake.

Know that you are strong,

Healthy and filled with vitality.

Know that you can tap into this feeling,

This abundant energy,

Anytime you need to.

Simply by connecting with this light inside of you and connecting with your breath.

Take these next few moments now to simply focus on yourself,

On this feeling and on your slow and steady breath.

Continue to see this bright,

Vibrant light coursing throughout your body,

Filling you with health,

With energy,

With vitality.

Take as much time as you need when you are ready,

Slowly opening your eyes and continuing on with your day.

Take as much time as you need when you are ready,

That was like a breath of fresh air! Just what was needed, I was feeling fatigued, so sleepy and drained of energy.
