Find a comfortable space where you can relax completely.

Choose the most comfortable position for you,

Keeping your spine straight and supported.

Gently close your eyes and draw your attention inward to your breath.

Taking this time out of your day just for you and your baby.

Time to breathe,

To relax and to connect.

Take three slow,

Deep,

Intentional breaths in your own time.

With each inhale,

Inviting in a sense of calm and relaxation.

With each exhale,

Releasing any tension,

Tightness or stress you may be carrying.

Just letting your breath flow naturally and easily.

Let your shoulders relax,

Releasing down away from your ears.

Relax your face,

Letting your eyebrows soften,

Your cheeks relax.

Softening your mouth,

Your lips.

Take three more slow,

Deep breaths in and out through your nose.

Releasing any remaining tension in your body.

Feel your chest open.

Feel the breath come easily in and out.

Feel all the tension release from your shoulder blades,

From your back.

Let your belly soften completely.

Let the relaxation travel down over your hips and pelvic area,

Releasing any tension here.

Feel your legs getting heavy as they too relax,

Melting down towards the floor.

Take another deep breath in and out,

Releasing any remaining tension.

Know that what you give to yourself,

You give to your baby.

Know that as you relax your body and work on your breath,

That you are allowing your baby to relax as well.

Place one hand over your heart now,

Drawing your attention to this space,

Breathing into this area.

Feel your chest rise and fall with each breath you take.

Feel your heart beating in your chest,

Beating beneath your hand.

And know that you are sharing this experience with your baby right now.

Know that your baby can feel and hear your heart beating along with you.

Take your other hand now and place it over your belly.

Feel yourself begin to connect with your baby,

Cradling your baby.

Imagine sending all the positive energy,

All the nutrients,

All the love to your baby now.

Know that your baby floats safely and happily within you,

Fully protected in your womb.

And that you are providing all the nourishment your baby needs to grow and develop.

Know what it might be like inside your womb right now,

Inside your baby's home.

Imagine the soft,

Pink,

Lush and nourishing space that is holding your baby,

Providing for your baby.

Imagine your baby floating around,

Safely supported.

Know that your amazing body is supporting and nourishing your baby right now,

Providing your baby with everything it needs.

With each inhale,

Feel both hands rise in sync with your chest and your belly.

With each exhale,

Feel your hands gently draw back in towards your body.

Breathing in,

Feeling your hands rise together.

Breathing out,

Feeling your hands draw back in towards your body.

Maybe you can even feel your baby move in your belly,

Moving beneath your hands.

Let your hands be an extension of your heart.

Visualise your heart connecting to your baby's.

Your world and your baby's world are intimately connected during pregnancy.

You are connected at every level of your being,

Physical,

Emotional,

Mental and spiritual.

This bond you share with your baby is special and like no other.

If you feel ready,

You can start to communicate with your baby now.

Maybe letting your baby know how loved and wanted they are,

How excited you are to meet them.

If you like,

You can talk to your baby about the birth or about the home and the family they are being brought into.

Maybe you'd like to communicate with your baby about how you're feeling in this moment.

If you have any worries or fears,

If you're going through a stressful time,

You can share this with your baby too.

Simply letting your baby know that these strong emotions belong to you and that you are working through them.

Letting your baby know that everything is okay and that they don't need to take on these feelings,

This stress or this energy on as their own.

Take the next little while to deepen this connection with your baby,

To communicate with your baby in whatever way feels right for you.

If you feel ready,

You can release your hands back down and gently start to open your eyes,

Coming back to the present moment.

Letting your baby know that everything is okay and that you are working through this stress or this energy on as their own.

If you have any worries or fears,

If you're going through a stressful time,

You can share this with your baby.
