We have a intermittent This is a meditation to help you to get to know your own inner genius better.
Start by relaxing your body as much as you can.
So whether you're sitting up or lying down,
Just let the tension drain out of your muscles.
Feel your body becoming softer and softer with each exhale.
Let your eyes softly close and move your attention inward.
Now start to notice your breath.
How does it feel right now?
Is it deep or shallow?
Cool or warm?
Try not to change your breath at all.
Just let it be natural and notice how it feels.
Notice where it's moving in your body.
What spaces is it filling?
How far is it reaching?
Just keep your attention on the air going in and coming back out.
Imagine you're following it the whole way in and then following it the whole way back out.
Is it easy to follow?
Or does your attention want to wander elsewhere?
Just notice.
Now move your attention to the back of the forehead.
Imagine there is a movie screen there right behind your eyes.
Imagine you can see a beautiful genie's lamp sitting there on the screen just behind your eyes.
Notice all of the details of the lamp.
What color is it?
What's it made out of?
What size is it?
What shape is it?
This magical lamp is the container inside you that holds your inner genius.
You only have to coax it out.
Now that you can visualize your lamp clearly,
Let it stay there and turn your mind to something that you really,
Really love to do.
Something you feel good at.
Something that comes easily to you.
It doesn't matter what it is.
Genius inspiration comes in all forms.
It might be something that makes you feel happy and light when you think about it.
You probably feel most like yourself when you're doing this thing.
Try to imagine yourself doing this thing with as much detail as you can,
As much as you can possibly visualize.
And watch how your body reacts.
You'll know you found it when you can use all of your senses to easily imagine it.
And it feels as if it was happening right now.
And there may be more than one thing that makes you feel like this.
That's perfectly fine.
It's possible you don't know of anything yet that makes you feel this way.
And that's also fine.
Just continue to focus your attention inward and explore how you feel when you imagine doing something that you love.
Try not to become frustrated if it isn't making sense just yet.
Instead,
See if you can cultivate a sense of curiosity,
Even excitement about what you're going to find inside for yourself.
When you think you found something that expresses your inner passions and gifts,
Imagine your lamp again.
Watch your inner genius materialize from inside the genie lamp,
Ready to grant your wish of expressing your desires every day by doing things that you love.
Of expressing your unique genius.
This force is ready and willing to guide you to your fullest potential.
The spirit of your unique gift is always waiting inside you for you to return to its guidance.
And it's always channeling inspiration to you in the form of the dreams that most excite you in this life.
Just keep focusing on the feelings sensation or that inner joy,
That creative expression.
When you feel ready,
Start to notice just your breath again.
Moving naturally in and out,
Rising and falling.
Feel your body begin to energize a bit more with every inhale and slowly open your eyes.
Turn to this meditation regularly so you can enhance your concentration and get closer to your inner genius.
