Find yourself in a comfortable seat.
Relax your shoulders.
Relax your face.
Straighten your spine as much as you can.
Feel your seat grounding down onto the chair or the cushion.
Rest your palms gently on your lap.
Close the eyes.
Just begin to follow your breath.
Notice where it enters the body at the tip of the nose.
Feel the sensation of the air,
The coolness or the warmth as it travels down the throat,
Down into the lungs,
Into the belly.
Follow it with your attention all the way down as far as you can find it.
And as it comes back up and back out of the body,
Follow it the entire pathway.
Continue this with your full attention as if you were riding on the breath all the way into the body and all the way back out.
You don't need to deepen the breath or lengthen the breath.
If you relax fully into this moment,
The breath will relax by itself.
The next time you follow the breath out of the body,
Leave it there.
Let your breath be by itself.
Let it move naturally and normally.
Just bring your focus up to the space at the back of the forehead,
Between the eyebrows,
Somewhere there,
Deep in the brain.
See if you can rest your attention there as the breath moves by itself in and out.
This is the area of the third eye,
The chakra that controls your intuition,
The center of your assessments,
Your impressions,
Your self-knowledge that already exists within.
This is the energy center that gives you access to more clarity,
More information about what to let go of and about what to move forward with,
More clarity in your decision making,
More confidence,
More inner trust.
Rest your attention there,
Between the eyebrows all the way back into the deepest parts of the brain,
By the pituitary and the pineal glands.
Try to imagine an indigo light.
It's just gently lighting up and warming up that entire space.
With your body still relaxed and your spine still straight,
Your breath still moving on its own,
Allow yourself access to your inner knowledge,
Your inner knowing,
Your inner guide that's always right there.
Allow any thoughts to come and go.
Allow any visions,
Any lights or shapes,
Anything else you may see within that space to come and go.
Just notice.
And if you see nothing at all,
Just notice that as well.
Notice what kinds of thoughts come to you.
Notice what kinds of emotions pop up.
Try to notice even the most subtle of impressions as you rest your full attention at the third eye center in a receptive state.
All of the answers that you need are right here within you.
Take a few moments each day to check in to this energy center,
To check in to this inner guru,
To ask for this inner guidance and practice being receptive,
Allowing the answers to come.
Notice the patience of allowing clarity to form and then spill over into your outer life.
Once again,
Follow your breath.
Follow it all the way down into the body and then notice it as it comes back up and out and let the eyes gently open,
Coming back into the room.
Allow these new impressions to fully form,
Fully blossom throughout the day and guide you in your decision making,
In your motivation and your moving forward.
