Hello and welcome.
This week's daily practice will be in support of letting your body express,
Letting it move
energy from the inside out through breath,
Movement,
Sound.
When we put our being into motion,
Our psyche into motion,
It heals itself.
As we welcome in some releases through our exhales,
Some shaking of our hands,
Our head,
And some sounding,
May we let our life energy flow,
May we free ourselves to just be as
we are right now and let it be in motion.
We're used to suppressing our energy,
So how do we practice expressing our energy,
Letting it out?
So I invite you just to settle in with me here.
It might feel nice to start this practice with your arms around each other,
Just squeezing
with your hands the outside of your arms,
And just take a nice juicy breath here,
Coming
into contact with your center,
The center of your being,
Squeezing each arm in towards
the center line,
Squeeze a little tighter,
You might even squeeze your shoulders up
towards your ears for a moment,
And then nice breath in,
And then exhale,
Just let your
arms go,
Let everything release and soften.
Our music is going to pick up,
And I'll welcome you into some expressive breath.
We'll breathe in through our nose,
Exhale,
Making a sound through our mouth.
Just following that flow to the music,
If your body wants to move along,
You want to
shake your arms a bit,
You want to wiggle side to side,
Move your spine,
Please do.
Let your body do what it knows to do here.
