This meditation is to check in with your body and listen to what wisdom it might have for you. This is an opportunity to pause and let your body speak before your mind. You will leave grounded and at peace having cultivated a deeper felt sense.

Welcome.

This practice will offer you a 10 minute check-in with your body.

I'm creating this with the intention that this practice helps you hear what your body is speaking to you in this moment,

So that you can build and develop a relationship with it,

Keeping in mind that your body speaks in the language of sensations,

Feelings,

So this conversation that you'll have won't exactly be like having a conversation with a friend.

It will be more like noticing with your awareness what sensations are speaking and then acknowledging them with your attention and your presence.

We often hold undigested,

Unprocessed,

Unspoken emotional and energetic material in our bodies.

And when this material gets stirred up because of our life circumstances,

It comes up to the surface and needs some support to be integrated.

So that's what we'll do today.

I welcome you to find a comfortable seat,

Ideally somewhere where you can stay alert and present.

And once you have found this seat,

Just giving yourself a few moments here to settle in,

Move in any way that feels nice,

And just grab anything that would feel supportive here.

And eventually finding or coming to a place of gentle stillness.

And when you arrive here,

Perhaps just letting your shoulders drop,

Your jaw drop,

Allowing your hips to sink in and your feet to relax.

Just noticing that you are supported here.

We'll take a couple of deep breaths,

Breathing in through the nose and out through the nose,

Breathing in through the nose and out through the nose,

And just gently as your breath continues to flow with ease,

No effort needed,

I welcome you to awareness to begin to drop down into your body.

And you do this by starting to pay attention to the sensations that are here,

Live,

And speaking to you in this moment.

Breathing in.

And as you tune in to these sensations,

You might notice that there's tension or pain.

Maybe there's an emotion that's here that you can feel.

I want you to find one specific sensation that maybe feels a little more alive or charged than the rest and locate it wherever it is in your body.

Typically these sensations are somewhere through our center line,

Our stomach,

Our solar plexus.

And can you just get to know this sensation,

Just be here with it,

Notice it,

Bringing an open,

Warm presence to this place in your body,

Just letting it know,

I'm here,

Body,

I'm here with you.

Start to notice what happens to this sensation as you're here with it,

Fully,

Nothing has to change,

Nothing needs fixing,

Just giving your body the space to do what it innately knows to do,

Using your breath to help you complete this process,

Letting whatever is here be met with love,

Be welcomed back into the wholeness of your being right here in this moment,

Just staying here in this place until you feel complete.
