Good morning and welcome.
I'll invite you this morning to do an energizing breath practice with me to wake up and build energy for the day.
This practice is very simple.
You're going to breathe in along to our music with pierced lips like you're sucking air through a straw.
And then your exhale will just come out through your mouth with relaxed jaw.
We're breathing in this way to take in lots of oxygen and energy.
We'll breathe for three and a half active minutes.
Then find some stillness and peace on the other side to land.
Ready?
We're going to start by taking a nice gentle breath in and breath out.
And we'll begin our practice by breathing in through our mouth with our pierced lips to the music.
In for two and out for two.

Open your chest wide as you breathe in.
And on your exhale,
Just letting go.

Feel that energy starting to rise.
We're clearing through mental and physical resistance.
It's time to wake up.
Wake up,
Body.
It's a new day.
Time to be alive.

We're going to double time for the rest.

Taking lots of air,
Taking all the oxygen.
Hold your breath at the top.
Whenever you feel ready,
Exhale with ease.
Returning to a normal breath.
Are you awake?
You feel energy moving,
Pulsating through your body.
And if you want,
You can even sway or move a bit here if you feel like it.
Maybe there's even some emotion here.
Feel your heart swell up a bit.
It's beautiful.
Just stay here in this stillness for a while.
And asking and how it feels to be alive and awake this morning.
Perhaps thinking of the humans that you love.
