Welcome.

This is a breath work practice to help you work with stuckness in your system.

So just the same as if you had backed up pipes in your house,

We can't begin to move energy emotion through our system,

Through the pipes of our body system.

Without first knowing and understanding,

Where's the clog?

So this practice is going to bring us deep inside,

Inside,

To meet whatever it is,

And to,

For a moment,

Surrender into the place of,

This is where I'm at right now.

So I'll invite you to find a position here that feels comfortable,

Where you can land.

And as things begin to slow down,

Just taking a few deep breaths,

Breathing in through your mouth,

Out through your mouth,

In through your mouth,

Out through your mouth,

And maybe just see here if there is an impulse,

Or if you have an intuition of how your body might want to shape itself in this moment of your life.

Maybe it feels heavy and you want to hang your head over,

Or you want to bring your arms across your chest and just hold yourself,

Pull yourself into the middle,

Into the center.

See if you can follow your body's natural knowing about the position and the shape it wants to be in.

You might be in fetal position on the floor or child's pose,

And when you arrive here,

Can we just take a couple of breaths,

And just see if you can find the place in your body where things might feel a bit stuck or trapped.

It's usually somewhere through the center line,

Maybe your solar plexus,

Your chest,

Your throat,

Your jaw,

Your heart,

And perhaps you might just allow yourself to surrender to this place of stuckness for this moment.

Breathing in,

What happens as you allow?

As you soften around this place where things have been trapped,

We really want to give into it,

To go right in there and say hello.

This energy wants to move,

It wants to express,

But when we fight it,

When we resist,

It gets stuck.

So we say to our body here,

You can relax around this.

Each breath out,

You can relax around this.

Letting yourself sink deeper and deeper.

Perhaps you even come to a place where there might be peace,

Less pushing and forcing to move,

To change,

To be somebody else.

But if you are here with yourself now in this place of acceptance of what is,

Knowing it's going to change,

It's going to feel different in your body,

Even in just a few minutes.

A couple of nice deep breaths here.

Loving this part of you that wants to let go,

But feels kind of scared.

What's going to happen?

One breath at a time,

Noticing everything that arises the more you let go.

See if you start to notice things shifting,

Moving,

Changing from the inside out,

Slowly.

What if it could be that easy?

I love myself as I am right here,

Right now.

And life will return again.

My energy and enthusiasm will come back again.

It always does.

So just take these last few moments here,

Last few breaths,

Just to rest.

Letting it all dissolve.

One moment at a time.

By accepting things exactly as they are right now.
