Life is the great dance & balance between dynamic & still. We shouldn't need a reason to relax. However, after a long, busy day, week, or month, sometimes it can be helpful to have a reminder to return to a state of relaxation, of stillness. Letting go of tension in places we may not have been aware of before. Stillness is the sanctuary we can return to. Intentional relaxation guides you to gently become aware of the body at your own pace. Using the anchor of the breath to guide & support the release. Giving yourself the time and space to rest, regardless of the length is beneficial on so many levels. It takes us into a place of listening, receiving, restoring & healing where we hand the reins over to the intelligence in & around us.
