Softly reclose your eyes.
From whatever position you're in,
Take your time to slowly move your body so that you're lying on your back in a comfortable position with your arms by your sides and feet slightly apart.
Or if it's more comfortable,
It's also an option to bend the knees,
Walk the feet out and let the kneecaps gently move towards each other.
Wake up inside your body.
Wake up inside your body.
Become aware of the feelings,
Sensations,
Breath and energy that flows around your physical dimension.
This body calm and relaxed.
Begin to gently move the face,
Squeeze the eyes and let them relax.
Open and close the jaw.
Smile.
Move the tongue.
Rock the head slowly from left to right.
Feel the stretch on each side of the neck.
Slowly left,
Slowly right.
Bring the head back to the centre.
Pause.
Take a deep breath in through the nose.
Exhale.
Inhale,
Draw the shoulders up towards your ears.
Exhale,
Slide them down,
Reach the fingertips towards your toes.
Inhale,
Draw your shoulders up towards the ears.
Exhale,
Slide the shoulders down away from the ears,
Reach the fingertips towards the toes.
Become aware of your hands.
Wiggle your fingers.
Make your hand into a fist.
Squeeze.
Inhale,
Stretch the fingertips wide.
Open the hands.
Exhale,
Squeeze the hands into a fist.
Inhale,
Open,
Stretch the fingers.
Exhale,
Relax the hands.
Become aware of the legs and feet.
Rock the legs from the hips in and out.
Flex and point the feet.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Gently rotate the ankles one direction and then in the other direction.
Walk the feet together.
Point the toes.
If you have space,
Inhale.
Take a full body stretch and open the chest.
Otherwise,
Take the arms out to the sides of the body.
Feel the space and expansion across the shoulders.
Take a huge inhale into the space within the body.
Open the mouth.
Exhale out through the mouth.
Relax the shoulders.
Inhale,
Feel the space between the shoulders open,
Ribs open.
Exhale out through the mouth.
Relax the shoulders.
Relax the spine.
Allow the breath to be natural.
Return the hands to a comfortable position either by the sides or gently rest the hands on the stomach.
Take a moment to observe how the breath moves in and out of the body.
Notice this morning whether the breath is higher,
Close to the collarbones or whether it's deep in the lower part of the chest or the stomach.
Exercise some control over the breath.
Exhale all the air out of the nose.
Inhale slowly.
Feel the lungs and stomach expand with fresh air.
Relax.
Exhale.
Release all the air.
Keep exhaling and now we add a count.
Inhale through the nose.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale through the mouth.
Two,
Three,
Four.
Inhale nose.
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale mouth.
Two,
Three,
Four.
Inhale nose.
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale mouth.
Two,
Three,
Four.
Inhale nose.
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale mouth.
Two,
Three,
Four.
Inhale nose.
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale mouth.
Two,
Three,
Four.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Relax.
Natural inhalation.
Release the control of the breath.
It may continue to keep this steady rhythm or allow it to fall back into its natural pattern.
Bring the awareness to the head.
Open up the mind within this relaxed state.
There is no threat here.
Free from tension.
Free from stress.
To appreciate this amazing body and breath.
Give yourself permission to invite the mind to work as a team member with the body and breath.
Mentally,
Begin to plan your day.
Allow the mind to calmly recognise what it is you feel truly grateful for this morning.
What do you feel truly grateful for in this moment?
It might be one thing,
It might be many things.
Just let them naturally arise and feel the heart open with this gratitude and appreciation.
Release the mind and let the heart open further.
Feel yourself in this position surrounded by your own strength,
Gratitude,
Power,
Vitality and self-love.
Take the hands over the eyes.
Give your face a massage.
Forehead,
Thumbs can massage the temples.
Massage the eyebrows,
The bridge of the nose,
The cheeks,
The jaw.
Slide the hands back over the eyes.
Have a moment in the darkness before opening your eyes under the palms of your hands and readjust to the light.
Whatever happens in this day is a lesson,
Is a gift,
Is an opportunity to grow.
In every moment you have a new chance to define who you are and what you want to be.
