A meditation to embody the energy being you are. Awakening each chakra with focus and breath to get the energy flowing more easily through your physical body. As energy flows more easily, life begins to flow more easily. Our life is a reflection of our energy flow.

Transcript

The elevator shaft meditation will help you to connect to the energy that's running through your physical body,

To remove blocks and create the circuitry needed to get things flowing optimally through the energy system that you are.

Life flows so much more easily when the energy is flowing through the body.

Begin by finding a comfortable seat or lying flat on your back and taking just a moment to relax.

Scan the body and notice if there are places of tightness or tension.

And begin to breathe a little more slowly,

A little more deeply.

Getting into those places if you feel them,

Inviting them to relax.

Inviting a sense of ease to wash over the body,

Softening the face and jaw.

Feeling your shoulders relax away from the ears.

Sense of ease rolling down the torso into the hips,

The legs and the feet.

Take a nice deep breath in through your nose.

Really stretch the belly,

Low in the belly.

Stretch it open with a breath and on the exhale,

Let it go.

Take another breath like that,

A deep breath in,

Filling the body with breath and exhale.

Now station your awareness behind the eyes.

Become conscious of the space behind your eyes.

And imagine this channel,

This channel of energy that runs through your physical body,

Almost like an elevator shaft,

Level by level or floor by floor will drop into the body,

Bringing energy and awareness to each of our chakras.

Let that awareness from behind the eyes slowly drop down into your throat,

Into your heart and then into the solar plexus,

Right where the ribs play a part.

Dropping from here down into the sacral chakra just below the belly button and then into the root at the base of your spine and pelvic floor.

Follow the awareness down your legs to your feet and out the bottom of your feet.

Begin to imagine,

Visualize the energetic roots that connect you to Mother Earth.

Perhaps it's easier to see yourself in your mind's eye standing on the earth,

Your bare feet in the plush green grass or on a beautiful sandy beach.

Really feeling that connection of you to the earth.

And as you take the next breath,

Breathe the energy of the earth up into your body.

Breathe it up through your feet and into your legs,

Past your knees.

Continue to inhale up until you get to the root chakra at the base of your spine.

And then exhale from the base of your spine right back down your legs through your feet and into the earth.

Breathing up again from the earth,

Up through the legs,

Up to the root.

And exhale back down the legs and into the earth.

If you're familiar with Mulabanda or that gentle pelvic floor lift,

Engage that now,

Root lock.

When you do that,

You take this channel of energy that you are and you bring it into a vessel ready to collect the energy that you're breathing up into the body.

Hold that root lock ever so gently as you breathe in from beneath your feet up through your legs right into the root chakra at the base of the spine.

And exhale back down the legs and into the earth.

This breathing up the legs into the root may cause you to feel more grounded.

It may cause you to feel a little heavier,

Connected,

Bringing the mind into the body.

Perhaps you visualize the color red or imagine that spiraling red energy right there at the base of your spine.

And let the next breath you take come from beneath your feet.

Breathe it up through the legs into the root chakra and up into the second chakra below your belly button.

Perhaps you see the red color become orange.

As you exhale from the second chakra back down through Moolabanda,

Through the legs,

All the way down and into the earth.

Breathing the energy from the earth back up through your legs,

Through the root into the second chakra.

And exhaling back down,

All the way down into the earth.

Begin to feel this stream of energy.

This stream of energy is who you are,

The energy being bigger than the body.

The energy is flowing through this body,

Compressed and compacted into this physical body that you are.

Let the next breath come from beneath your feet.

Breathe it up through chakra one,

Through chakra two below the belly button.

Breathe it up a little higher this time into the solar plexus,

Right where the ribs play apart.

Stretching it open and then exhaling back down through chakra two and one.

Exhale down through the legs and into the earth.

The warmth of the solar plexus is like the sun.

Breathing up from beneath you again.

Breathe up through the root,

Through the sacrum.

Stretch open the solar plexus warm yellow energy,

Connecting to your own personal power.

And breathing back down through the sacrum and the root,

Down through the legs and into the earth.

Finding that gentle easy flow of breath.

Not observing the breath if you can,

But being the breath.

Feel the breath of you moving up through the body.

Inhaling from beneath the feet and breathing up through chakras one and two,

Right into the solar plexus as it stretches open.

And then sip in a little more air so that you feel that energy stretch up into your heart center.

Right at the center of your chest.

From there,

Exhale right back down through the solar plexus and the sacrum,

Through the root and the legs.

Breathe all the way back down and into the earth.

And let the next breath come up from beneath your feet through the legs,

Through mula bandha,

Second and third chakra.

Breathe it up into the heart.

Expand.

Feel that chest opening,

The energy of love expanding outward.

And as you exhale this time,

Exhale up the channel through your throat behind your eyes.

Breathe it up and out the top of your head.

Still seeing yourself standing on the earth,

Breathe in that cosmic energy from above.

Breathe it down through the crown chakra behind your eyes and through your throat.

Breathe it into an expansive heart.

And then exhale down the channel through the solar plexus and sacrum,

Through the root,

Down the legs,

Down your feet into the earth.

Let it feel good,

Breathing from the earth back up into the body,

All the way up through the body into the heart space.

Exhale from the heart up the channel through the throat behind the eyes out the top of your head.

Breathing in from above your head,

This time roll your eyes up.

Create some tension behind the eyes as you breathe down behind the eyes and into your throat.

Stop at your throat chakra.

And here,

The center of manifesting.

Breathe from that manifesting center down the body through the heart,

Through the belly,

The sacrum,

The root,

Down your legs into the earth.

Breathe that earth energy right back up into your body.

Breathe it all the way up into your throat.

From the throat,

Exhale up behind the eyes.

Keep the eyes rolled up,

A little bit of tension behind the eyes as you breathe up and out the top of your head into the sky.

And breathing in from above your head back down into the throat.

Exhale down the body fully through each chakra.

Be in each chakra as you breathe down and through your legs and out your feet and into the earth.

Keep Moolabanda engaged.

Roll the eyes.

Squeeze the shoulder blades together ever so slightly and begin to constrict your throat so that you hear the breath at the same time.

Those four anchor points help keep you right there in the central channel.

Let the next breath come in from beneath your feet and breathe it up into the body.

Breathe it all the way up through each chakra until you get behind your eyes.

Feel the tension behind your eyes,

The spaciousness there,

Creating circuitry and exhale from behind your eyes up and out into the sky.

Breathing in from above,

Pull it in behind your eyes.

Pause there for just a moment,

Awakening your third eye,

Inspiration and intuition.

And then exhaling down the channel all the way down the channel and into the earth.

Splash.

You are the invisible light energy flowing through this body.

It's coming from the cosmos.

It's breathing down into the body.

It's moving into the earth and right back up into this body.

Feel that perfect energy,

The pure perfect energy of you.

Celebrate that.

It is something to be celebrated.

Let the next breath come from beneath your feet.

Breathe it up into the body.

Feel the belly expand,

The heart expand.

Exhale up the channel,

Out the top of your head.

One more time,

Breathe it in from above,

Right through the crown chakra behind the eyes,

Through the throat,

Into the heart,

Into the belly.

Expand.

Soften.

And exhale down the body and into the earth.

Relax.

Relax the anchor points.

Relax your eyes.

Relax your heart.

Feel the energy of you moving through your body.

Perhaps you can feel a tingling in the hands and feet as you've awakened the energy of you.

Taking a nice deep breath in and on the exhale,

One more time,

A deep breath in and let it go.

You are meant to be celebrated.

You are an amazing being.

Energy is flowing through you.

And as you focus on that energy flowing through you,

It helps you to be healthier,

To be happier,

And for all of life to flow more easily.

I encourage you to start each day awakening the energy within and then carrying that energy in a celebratory way through your day.

Good morning from Goa I’ve been doing this meditation for awhile and I really enjoy it. This is more a request than anything else. Would it be possible for you to do an advanced version where you use the names and colours of the chakras? I’m a very visual person and I got a bit confused with starting with correct names and colours to then just areas and numbers. I may be all alone in this but I really enjoy this track I love the anchor points and the relaxation at the end and especially the splash down into the Earth thank you for all that you do for this Community With love and light πŸ™πŸ½πŸŒž
