Hi,
And thank you for joining me on It's Our Nature and for taking time out to root and receive.
Take a moment now to stop.
Just stop and get comfortable,
Whatever that means to you in this moment.
Thank yourself for taking a little pause to just check in and say hello to yourself.
Take a few deep breaths now to feel inside.
Feel that breath beckoning you in.
Notice what sensations or emotions you notice.
And how is your heart?
Bring your jeweled presence to yourself.
And from this place of turning within,
I invite you to notice your tailbone.
That tiny linking of bones that would have been a longer tail had we evolved into some other species.
Imagine it now,
Growing longer and entering earth,
Not unlike a root.
Let yourself see and feel your tail descending into earth,
Through soil,
Sliding past stones,
Perhaps feeling moisture,
Temperature,
Texture.
Let it grow as long and go as deep as feels right to you.
And that root slows and eventually stops,
Notice what it does,
Maybe it curls around a stone or is in contact with something in particular.
Just notice.
And how do you feel now inside?
Now as you are anchored so definitively into our earth mama's body,
You might notice a feeling of weightedness.
As if you were an hourglass and all the sand has filtered into the bottom part of you that touches whatever you are sitting on.
Feeling that weight.
And maybe you can imagine that wherever your center of gravity was when we began is now much lower in your body.
Just notice whatever it is you notice.
And now please put your attention on the crown of your head.
Maybe you can imagine a small opening or like a portal there,
Opening up the aperture widening just a bit so that you can actually allow yourself to experience what it is to receive.
Maybe it feels like light coming in or wisdom or some divine essence or something else.
Just allowing it to filter in and you becoming a receiving vessel firmly anchored into earth.
Let yourself feel what comes with that.
What sensations or experiences are here for you now as you fill up and root down and allow.
And taking another couple of deep breaths with conscious letting go on the exhale.
And feel the bottoms of your feet,
The center of your forehead,
The back of your neck,
Your inner wrists and now your heart center,
Taking a breath right into the heart center and exhaling as well through that.
Slowly bring yourself back now to consciousness with your surroundings.
No need to rush gently waking your body and muscles back up.
No need to pull up your tail.
And maybe you don't even need to close the opening in your head.
You may like to stay connected,
But you choose what is right for you.
And carry this feeling of being rooted and receiving right into your day and see how it changes.
Blessings.
