Healing Coronavirus - Deep Dive
by Jade Sherer
This deeply relaxing meditation and visualization takes you into your own inner nature to strengthen and rejuvenate your healing powers so that any virus or disease cannot over take you. This is a little known way towards trusting our own healing nature.

Hi friends,
This is Jade Shearer with It's Our Nature.
I've been asked to make a longer version of this meditation that's,
For these uncertain times,
A way of healing with COVID with cancer or any disease.
So here we are.
With COVID-19,
The coronavirus,
Infiltrating our world so dramatically now that the very ground we walk on seems to be trembling,
I want to come to you with an invitation to find calm,
To breathe through your anxiety,
To build your immune system through visualization and meditation.
So thanks so much for trusting me with your time.
It was through a recent cancer diagnosis that I found my way to this kind of a visualization.
What I learned in the months of healing was that cancer cells are in almost every body and that the task was not to abolish them or eradicate every one of them,
For that may be impossible,
But to grow the inner terrain,
My inner ecosystem,
Which includes my spirit and heart and soul,
But also the very practical parts of my gut and my belly and my muscles,
And to build a really healthy ecosystem that's in balance.
For ecosystems that are in balance on the planet know what to do with viruses,
Diseases.
Infiltrators,
Shall we say,
They aren't necessarily the enemy.
We just have to live in balance and aren't we being given this opportunity to take a look and see whether our lives on this beautiful planet are in balance now or not.
So I invite you to join me on this journey of exploration.
So first,
Let's find a place for our bodies.
Find a place for your body to sit or lay that feels particularly supportive and restful.
Maybe you'll be sitting upright in a traditional meditation posture or sit with the support behind your back if that feels good.
Try to keep your spine as aligned as possible.
You can certainly lie down and allow the support of the bed or the floor to hold your spine in alignment.
And we'll begin with our breath as we always do as it opens and ignites our awareness and brings us into our bodies.
And in this time,
It may serve each of us to give attention and awareness to our lungs right now.
As you may be feeling grief which is associated with the lungs or perhaps you are feeling trepidation in your respiratory system because this virus does seem to invade the lungs and the respiratory system.
So if fear is there,
You may be igniting some symptoms,
Actual or imagined.
So just take a deep breath in,
Holding for just a count or two at the top of the breath.
And then I want to invite you to make your exhales a bit longer than the inhales.
So let's start there and I'll count for the first breath.
So breathing in,
2,
3,
4,
Holding,
1,
2,
3,
And exhaling,
2,
3,
4,
5,
6.
And continuing on your own with your own counting,
Just finding what's comfortable but making that exhale just a little bit longer.
Find out what your lungs need right now.
And now I'd like to invite you into the same kind of breathing with the hold at the top and the longer exhale.
But imagine it is going right into and out of the heart.
So you might imagine that your heart has a nose or a mouth right on it.
A way to take the breath directly into the heart.
And with this way of breathing,
Not only is the longer exhale soothing our nervous system,
But to breathe in and out of the heart actually allows our organs to regulate,
To come to a place of stasis and calm,
To be cleansed.
So visualize the air coming right into the heart now and as you inhale the lungs then expand and actually give a little hug to the heart.
And exhaling longer,
Calming exhale.
And as you continue to breathe,
Imagining that the air is coming right into and out of the heart,
I want you to place your attention now on the soles of your feet.
So let's do a short body scan here.
First let's put our awareness there on the soles of your feet or perhaps on your ankles and see if you notice any kind of sensation there.
And moving up through the ankles and the calves into the knees with your awareness,
Just feeling as you go.
Notice the back of your knees,
Your thighs on all sides,
Your groin and the pelvic girdle.
Really putting your attention there into the pelvic area for a moment on this nest of creativity.
And include the first chakra,
The perineum,
The place of grounding and centering down,
Staying rooted despite the fears of the mind.
What do you notice in that first and second chakra area?
And moving upward through the body,
Notice whatever you notice in terms of sensation,
Energy,
Maybe pain or contraction,
Any images or emotions,
Breathing right into it.
And onward now sensing all the organs inside your torso,
The digestive system,
Your liver,
Kidneys,
Spleen,
Pancreas,
All of those organs that are so faithful to us and up into the lungs themselves.
Just noticing as you continue to inhale and exhale,
Noticing what that actually feels like.
The sensation of the breath moving in and out of the lungs and into and out of the heart.
Maybe you can actually feel your heart beating like a drum.
Imagine bowing now,
Giving a nod to those faithful aspects of our body that are with us from the beginning to the very end.
First breath into the last.
And noticing now your chest,
The area around your collarbones and the shoulders and neck,
Bringing special attention to the shoulders,
The neck.
See if you can invite them to relax a little,
Just in case you've been clenching or pulling your shoulders forward and up in an unconscious effort to avoid feeling.
Or maybe you are allowing stress to dictate your body posture because of the energies of fear that have been surrounding us in the field.
Bringing your consciousness there now.
Let's let the breath invite the shoulders to sink a little,
To drop.
And notice the energy that might be held there.
And moving down the arms now through the elbows into forearms and wrists.
Hands,
The right hand,
The left hand,
The fingers on each hand.
You might for a moment clench or wiggle those fingers.
And as you release or still the fingers,
Just notice is there tingling or heat or vibration?
What's there?
And noticing the head,
The scalp,
The ears,
Eyebrows,
Lips.
The head has been working overtime for most of us.
Just imagine that your scalp and face,
The muscles of your face and the skin can actually droop a little.
The eyes can sink back into their sockets and turn downwards,
Relaxing.
Your jaw and cheeks and lips can relax and let go.
Feel this stillness,
This letting go,
This vibrancy of awareness.
And from here we're going to go a little deeper in,
Friends.
We souls who are living in this particularly precarious time on the planet,
Perhaps you feel you were born for these times or maybe you feel a lot of resistance and fear in response.
Wherever you are,
I'd like to invoke a moment of wandering in your inner wilderness,
If you can imagine that.
The terrain that is yours alone,
That you move and live and love from.
I invite your imagination to become very active and awake,
Open.
We need its assistance in these ways.
So as you go inside further,
Imagine that you are entering a natural world within,
The nature within.
Find yourself walking further in.
And soon you might begin to encounter or recognize,
Imagine a particular place in nature,
A particular ecosystem,
Which I invite you to see as your immune system,
A part of your immune system,
A place that feels like it is yours alone,
Very particular to you.
It feels like what is inside of you.
And it is so gorgeous.
Maybe you can even feel it as particularly healthy and vibrant,
Inviting.
And it could be anything.
A place you've been to before,
Or a place you love,
Or a place you've never been to or even imagined.
Maybe it doesn't seem earthly.
Maybe it absolutely feels like nature in balance.
However it feels,
Let it be home somehow.
Recognize how it is home to you somehow.
And notice now as you enter it,
What kind of feelings are invoked in you as you wander in.
And as you look around and walk in this territory,
Move in this territory,
However you are moving,
Navigating whatever it offers.
Notice if you feel that this particular place in nature,
This ecosystem,
Does it feel like it's in balance?
What are you noticing,
First off?
What feels or looks or smells or seems to be flags of a healthy ecosystem?
And where are you walking?
Are you on rock,
On grass,
In water?
Do you sense that this place is thriving?
Look around and listen acutely.
Keep your senses open and alive and awake to this place.
Are there animals moving about?
Are there plants,
And do they look healthy and vivacious?
What else is there?
Is there water moving through?
Are there mushrooms growing perhaps?
Maybe you can look with your laser vision into the soil and see if the mycelium is rich and growing and spreading,
Connecting.
Do you see birds?
Are there other animals hiding in the bushes?
Or maybe they're boldly out and communicating with you in some way.
Allow that.
Do you feel the touch of a breeze or wind?
What is its temperature?
What color is the sky?
Who else is there?
Is the sun shining on you,
Or what time of day is it?
What sounds alert you to things you cannot see?
How does it feel to walk in this beautiful inner world?
If there's any part of this beautiful landscape that you are moving through that feels unhealthy or unusual,
Strange,
Imagine that you can move towards it and with your love and calm you can actually imbue it with a kind of injection of health,
Giving it exactly what it needs.
And maybe it only needs to be seen by you,
Appreciated.
Maybe there's information you are gathering that you'll take back with you that will inform you about your needs,
Your body's needs right now.
Do you need more sleep?
Do you need more meditation or stillness,
A balancing between activity and stillness?
Or is there some kind of nutrient or food that you need?
Really letting your intuition and your imagination be your guide here.
This is a reciprocal relationship where you are listening and bringing your own love and calm to your interior.
And it is communicating with you about what it most needs right now.
You're listening to its communications and then you're loving it back,
Noticing it,
Thanking it.
In this time of COVID-19,
Is there any part of your body that seems to need special attention or care?
Any part of your spirit,
Your soul,
Your mind,
What needs special attention right now?
And allow the sense of vibrancy and vitality that you may sense in your ecosystem to stream into your heart right now.
Take it in.
See the immune system now for a moment as strong.
Let this be a sacred reciprocity.
Circulate your love into the inner ecosystem and let its strength and calm enter your consciousness.
Realizing that an ecosystem in balance,
Whether it's an inner ecosystem or an outer ecosystem,
Is strong and can invite in a virus and work with it without getting depleted or sick from it.
So please return here and take as much time as you like,
Knowing that you could do this daily and I recommend that.
Please give a gesture now of gratitude to this place.
Really taking it in with all your senses,
The place,
All its beauty,
All that it has to communicate.
Be curious as to why this particular landscape showed up as your immune system's landscape right now and notice what it does in response.
See if you want to make a promise to return.
And with that,
Bringing your attention slowly back from the landscape,
Taking one last sniff of the air,
A great listening to the place's sounds.
Let yourself hear what it has to say.
See the colors.
Feel the breeze.
And then coming back to feeling your own body.
As you just do a brief survey through the physical body,
What do you notice now?
Has anything changed through your feet or your arms or shoulders or head,
Your back?
Does anything feel calmer or more alive?
What kind of wisdom do you hold now that you weren't aware of before perhaps?
And speak a sentence or two aloud now about the strength of your body and ecosystem and how it is healing now and growing stronger.
Maybe how gorgeous that inner nature is.
Find your own sentence,
But here's some you could do with me as well.
My rivers are flowing strong.
The wild ones abound.
My plants are growing in relationship with an underground network of mycelium,
Growing stronger and more diverse in every breath.
I am strong.
I am safe.
I am in balance.
My immune system knows exactly how to deal with viruses and disease.
I have everything I need.
And from this place,
Beginning to do micro movements,
Little tiny movements maybe in your toes or your hips,
Your back or neck,
Letting your head slowly turn,
Maybe stretching your face.
And a couple more breaths bring us to a close here.
Again,
Remembering the great trick of your exhale being longer than your inhale that is just so soothing to the parasympathetic nervous system,
The fight or flight impulse that might be heightened right now for some of us.
So I have learned that the way to health and to healing of disease,
Of dis-ease,
In my case with cancer,
Is to really make sure I have this healthy ecosystem within.
Treat it as such a glorious,
Sensitive,
Wise place in nature and to do what I can,
Whether it's walks in nature,
Which are big for me,
Or nutrients,
Supplements,
Organic vegetables,
Seeing friends and giving and receiving love,
Even if at a distance right now.
Taking in nature,
Finding ways to de-stress,
To calm ourselves,
Visualizing health and love.
All of these are ways to make our inner world more healthy.
And with a healthy immune system and ecosystem,
The body knows how to confront those viruses and whatever comes our way.
So I will leave you with this,
My friends.
I feel very connected to Earth right now and that makes me very connected to you.
We need each other and we need this connection more than we even know.
We are in this together.
There is no one that is separate from this immense event on the planet.
Imagine that.
What if the coronavirus and explicitly COVID-19 has come to teach us something extremely valuable?
With that,
I give you my deepest love and respect.
And I'd like to remind you that your love and your calm is contagious and far more powerful than any virus.
Be well,
My friends.
And remember you are not alone.
With love and care,
Namaste.
