Hello it is Jax and welcome to a two minute practical meditation.
Thanks so much for being here.
Let's get started.
Find a comfortable position.
Close your eyes or maintain a soft gaze downward.
Take a deep breath in,
Filling your lungs completely,
And exhale slowly release any tension or stress from your body.
Again,
Take a deep breath in,
Feel your muscles loosening up with each breath,
And exhale release release.
Now start to bring your attention to the present moment.
If thoughts of the past or the future come up,
Just notice them,
Acknowledge them,
Give them a little bit of attention,
And then can you slowly start to soften around those thoughts,
Start to release them,
Knowing this is your time to be fully present.
All you're doing right now is just noticing your thoughts.
Now shift your attention to your body,
Relax the eyes and the eyebrows,
Soften the forehead,
The inner corners of the eyes.
And as you take a moment to appreciate the sensation of stillness and peace within you,
Know that you have the ability to access calmness whenever you need it.
Take two deep inhales through the nose,
Open mouth,
Exhale,
Let it go.
One more,
Two deep inhales,
Open mouth,
Exhale.
