Welcome to Day 10 of Insight Timer's Intention Setting Challenge.

Setting an intention is making a decision about who you want to be and how you choose to show up.

Over time,

Those choices become change.

Let's begin.

Hello and welcome to Insight Timer's Intention Setting Challenge.

My name is Jack Kornfield,

And today we're exploring the quality of inner strength.

Not the strength that pushes or resists,

But the quiet steadiness that already lives within you.

Real strength isn't about tightening your grip.

It's about learning to stay open and steady,

Even when life feels uncertain.

And each time you choose calm and strength over reactivity,

You choose patience and steadiness over panic.

You strengthen your inner foundation.

Intentions are powerful.

To help bring this energy into your day,

We'll focus on the intention,

Today,

I will trust my calm more than my fear.

Let's practice together.

Let your eyes close if you're seated somewhere safe and take a couple of long breaths.

Let your body settle and sink into the seat and connect all the way to the earth beneath you.

With loving awareness,

You can always feel the sense of being supported,

Steady where you are.

And with the same mindful loving awareness,

Steady where you're seated,

With kindness,

Notice the state of your body just now.

And the state of your heart.

Whether joyful or worried,

Notice what's present and wrap them with kindness.

And you become the calm,

Steady,

Loving witness to it all.

The quality of steady,

Loving awareness can hold everything,

The 10,

000 joys and sorrows.

Sense the vast space all around your experience.

And say gently to yourself,

I am calm,

Spacious,

And steady.

Feel it,

Calm,

Spacious,

And steady.

Trust this.

As you rest in this strength and calm and steady presence,

Remember inwardly in your heart the intention,

Today I'll trust my calm more than my fears and worries.
