This week's shorter practice is going to be a few moments of affirmations for self-belief.
Our whole lives are influenced by our belief system.
Our subconscious mind is an extremely powerful thing,
And so it is important to reprogram any faulty negative thinking we may have in our minds.
Repeating positive affirmations regularly,
Especially daily,
Can be helpful to replace negative beliefs we have and can literally change our lives.
So allow your eyes to close if you wish and let the body sink into your seat or your bed,
And take a couple of deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Repeat the following sentences silently to yourself,
And whether you believe them to be truth right now or not,
Just allow them to settle and consolidate into your mind.
I am a powerful human being.
I can do all things that I put my mind to.
I make good and healthy choices for my body.
I can create good and healthy habits for my body and my mind.
I listen to the messages my body sends me,
And I do what I need to do to keep my mind and body rejuvenated,
Healthy and whole.
I choose to be grateful in my life for whatever is there.
I speak positivity and life all over myself.
I believe in me.
I look forward to each day.
People like me and want to be around me.
People like to listen to me.
I am confident in my speech.
I give off positive and life-giving energy.
I love life and am so grateful to be alive.
I have patience and calm.
I can be still and rest.
I choose to rest because I know that is necessary for my body and my mind.
My relationships value and respect me because I value and respect myself.
I believe in me.
I will prosper in life.
I am successful in whatever I choose to do.
