Warmest Embrace

This is a story about surrendering to love even when you're afraid. The only way to experience big love is to love big. You can't hold back out of fear and expect great love to find you. You have to take the risk.

His embrace feels warm and loving as I rest my head on his shoulder, But my body feels stiff. My mind is calling the shots. So I stand still. I curl my neck in closer and nuzzle a little deeper with only my head. My body keeps a safe distance, Careful not to get too close, Careful not to fall in. And I start to think about all the things I'd like to do instead. How much I want to pull his face into my hands and kiss him. How I want to comb my fingers through his hair. And then I realize I don't have to stay frozen. What if I just let go? What if just for this moment, I could allow myself to enjoy this expression of love that was being so kindly offered to me? Would that be so wrong? I tell myself to relax. I sink into the hug with my whole body and I allow my stomach to press up against his. I lift my head from his shoulder and I bring my arms up around his neck. My face moves in towards his and I press my cheek against his cheek. I slowly adjust my stance and move in a little closer. I feel a wave of pleasure flow down my body. Soon it's radiating from my sacral chakra and sending waves of pleasure pulsating throughout, Lighting up every center with the most pleasant feeling of tingling warmth. My whole being feels held in love. It's the most comfortable embrace I've ever felt. It feels like melting further and further into bliss, A total body high, A melding of beautiful energies of truth and pure intention, The intention to give love and receive it. I completely surrender to this moment and my body takes over, Moving intuitively with ease and tenderness.
