Hello this is Alessandra now with Dexter and Alessandra now and today I'm going to guide you through a gentle and short meditation to ground yourself.
So if you'll begin by finding a place where you can either stand or sit or lie down.
And the purpose of this meditation today is to help you to feel yourself in your body.
And in order to be able to feel ourselves in our body the first step is really relaxing and being comfortable because how we are going to be in our bodies if we're not comfortable.
We're going to want to escape with our minds,
Seek distraction or ways to suppress or repress how we feel.
So once you have your position and you relax into it finding a place of comfort in your body and noticing how aware you are of your physical body.
Maybe you can assess that on the scale of 1 to 10 or in percentage noticing how present are you to your body.
How aware are you of your body and of occupying your body.
And if you'll go ahead and close your eyes if you haven't closed them yet so that you don't escape through your eyes through vision through the sensory stimuli that capture our attention through our eyes and exploring the space of your body with your eyes closed.
Exploring with your inner eye traveling throughout your body and noticing what is arising in the body and accepting that.
Feeling whatever you feel and intending to be present in your body as you feel it.
And you may become aware of thoughts pulling you away from the body from presence from being grounded in your body grounded occupying the space of your whole body.
How present are you in your fingertips and your toes?
How present are you at the crown of your head?
And allowing for the body to be equally harmoniously occupied.
Noticing if you've been maybe focusing or concentrating the energy in one area and allowing for the even distribution of energy throughout your entire body.
Feeling safe occupying the space of your body regardless of sensations of stimuli that come up not escaping them not analyzing them thinking of them just being present.
Open and accepting of them while you occupy the whole space of your body and maybe you can bring your hands to your forearms and touch your forearms and then move around touch your upper arms your shoulders and start your legs your calves just really connecting to your body feeling yourself inside your body.
And as you touch different parts of the body maybe you become aware that you are not as present as you thought yourself to be.
And so in full acceptance of this you can bring your focus your attention your energy back into the body.
Noticing with love,
Acceptance,
Forgiveness,
Any distraction,
Any absence and choosing to occupy your body.
To be contained in your body.
To be supported by your body to feel that support.
Grateful for your body for the fact that it supports your process of evolution as you inhabit this body as your soul inhabits this body.
Feeling grateful for that.
Thanking your body and as you ground yourself and you feel yourself in your body accepting anything that arises feeling contained supported.
If you'd like you can affirm that you can emphasize that through your words through your acceptance and recognition validation.
For instance you could say my body contains me.
My body supports me.
My body supports me.
And exploring both realizing what that actually means in terms of experience.
My body contains me.
My body supports me.
I am conscious of being fully supported by my body.
I feel safe in my body.
It's safe for me to be in my body.
Seeing that these words point to a truth to an experiential truth and experience it,
Explore it.
This experience of containment of support.
Being conscious that you are contained and supported by your body.
Re-informing your body,
Reintegrating,
Allowing for a new experience to emerge.
A new experience of yourself in your body.
A very loving and relaxed experience of self in your body,
Grounded in your body.
Embodying this experience completely.
Embodying the experience of being in your body.
Of being grounded and safe in your body.
And noticing how much the root chakra,
Your first energy center,
The level of the perineal floor of the tailbone,
How this whole area relaxes.
And as it does,
You can experience more safety,
More security,
And a sense of being truly safe in the present moment in your body.
Body relaxing into the present moment.
Continuously informing the body to relax more.
That you are in a safe situation,
A comfortable situation,
Where it's completely okay to relax,
To let go.
And as you ground yourself in your body and it feels good to be in your body,
Feel how much energy you feel and your body is filled with.
Notice that,
How much more alive you feel.
How much more able to manifest by being grounded,
By being connected to your body and all that it relies upon in its environment.
Honoring that and feeling safe,
Manifesting,
Taking and receiving,
Giving and receiving.
So let yourself feel safe in your environment,
In your body,
In your environment,
Grounded in your body,
Grounded in your environment,
Safe in your environment,
In union with it.
Consciously aware of it and of your constant interaction,
Dense with your environment and feeling safe with this experience,
With this mutual interaction.
And so feeling grounded in your body and in your environment,
Assessing on a scale of 1 to 10 or in percentages how present you are in your body,
Notice the difference between the beginning of this meditation and the ending of this meditation,
How you feel now.
So that you can remember that whenever you become ungrounded,
Unconscious,
Not as present,
Not as aware,
Not as attentive,
Focused,
You have a path to once again being more grounded,
More present,
More in your body and feeling safe and comfortable with the experience.
And as you apply it,
As you learn it,
It becomes easier and easier to get to this point and faster and faster you become one with it because you've explored it,
You've practiced it,
You've embodied it,
You've become truly familiar with it and so you can easily find it,
We call it,
Because it's always there underneath the surface.
Feeling grateful for this experience,
For this shift in your consciousness,
Feeling grounded and safe,
Occupying your body.
You can gently open your eyes,
Come back,
The space that you're in,
The time that you're in,
Bringing all of this energy that you've cultivated in this meditation.
