Welcome to the IVF meditation on reducing fear.

Emotions are the gateway to your soul.

One of the most emotional experiences is the journey of parenthood.

We are emotional beings and the creation of life brings up,

Well,

Everything.

Let me just set the record straight for you that it is okay to feel.

It is okay to feel everything you are right now.

It's simply there to teach you something about yourself.

This meditation is giving you the opportunity to feel,

Embrace,

And empower yourself through the IVF process.

You've been through a lot to get here and know that there is every reason to be here.

This is your journey and that's what makes it right.

Trust your body.

It's been working for you,

Not against you,

Every day since the day you were born and this day is no different.

Let's go ahead and start the meditation.

Find a comfortable seated position or feel free to lie down for this meditation.

Take a deep breath in and exhale out slowly.

Go ahead and close your eyes.

Embrace the stillness that surrounds you right now.

Take another deep breath in and exhale all the way out.

Begin to bring your awareness to your forehead and soften this space,

Relaxing this area.

And just in this moment,

Release the worries that you hold in the space of your body.

Let your forehead feel light.

Take a deep breath in and exhale all the way out.

Begin to bring your awareness to your jaw and to your teeth.

Unclench,

Soften,

Relax.

You don't need to be tense in this moment.

You can let go.

Bring your awareness to your chest and take a deep cleansing breath in,

Filling up your lungs and exhale all the way out.

Notice the tension or emotions you're holding in this space of your body.

And take another deep breath in and exhale all the way out.

Embrace the stillness in this moment.

Your heart is okay.

You have an abundant amount of love within and around you.

The world never placed you here in this moment to fear it.

Notice your body begin to soften with each breath you take.

Go deeper and deeper into relaxation with each breath.

And take a deep breath in and exhale all the way out.

And in this moment,

I invite you to bring your awareness to the space below your belly button.

Place your right hand on top of this area and your left hand on top of your right.

Deep breath in and deep exhale out.

This area of your body has been the center of your attention.

Allow any fearful emotions or worries to come up for you right now.

What is keeping you up at night?

What are you thinking about in embarking on this journey to parenthood?

It's okay to feel and the emotions you're feeling are the gateway to your soul.

In this moment of silence,

Let each deep breath bring you deeper awareness of how you feel and breathe through the emotions that arise.

Take another deep breath in,

Really filling up your lungs and exhale all the way out through your mouth.

Feel free to wipe away any tears that may have been released.

And now I invite you to imagine yourself placing every worry,

Every fear that came up for you into a red radio flyer wagon.

And now imagine this red wagon at the top of a very,

Very high hill.

Imagine yourself holding on to the black handle of the wagon at the top of the hill.

It is packed full with all your fears and worries.

On the count of three,

Let go of the handle.

One,

Two,

Three,

Release.

Watch the wagon go roaring down the hill until it's completely out of sight.

Take a deep breath in and exhale all the way out,

Allowing yourself to release.

Feel free to place your hands down by your side,

And in this moment,

I invite you to become connected to the deep awareness within you that everything is going to be okay.

Take a deep breath in and exhale all the way out.

Everything is okay.

In the next moments of silence,

Begin to repeat this mantra along with each deep exhalation.

I completely love and trust my body.

Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out and repeat,

I completely love and trust my body.

Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.

Everything is okay.

I completely love and trust my body.

Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.

Everything is okay.

I completely love and trust my body.

Everything is okay.

I completely love and trust my body.

Everything is okay.

I completely love and trust my body.

Let the sound of my voice bring you back.

Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.

And bring a smile to your face.

Allow yourself to connect with this understanding of how the universe works with you.

You are exactly where you need to be.

You love and trust your body.

Feel free to open your eyes whenever you're ready.

Take a deep breath in and exhale out releasing and letting go.

Feel free to stretch or move your fingers and toes.

Let yourself be reminded of the power that resides within you to trust yourself.

To trust the process of things and a deep knowing that you are okay.

And one more reminder to take with you.

Know you are and will be an amazing mother no matter the path to parenthood.
