Bring in calming, soothing energy with your in-breath and soften and let go as much as you can manage with your out-breath. Have as much acceptance and compassion for any areas of discomfort you meet. Remain as gentle and open in your awareness as you can manage. Feeling present and centred, ready for the next part of your day.

Transcript

Become aware of your body in this moment.

How is it feeling?

Notice your posture and make any adjustments you need to.

Ensure your spine is as long and straight as possible and that you feel stable,

Supported and comfortable whether you are sitting,

Standing or lying down.

If it feels right for you today,

Gently close your eyes and tune in to your inner landscape.

Notice any thoughts,

Feelings or sensations.

Be with whatever comes into your awareness.

You might like to slowly scan through your body from head to toe.

Have as much acceptance and compassion for any areas of discomfort you meet.

Remain as gentle and open in your awareness as you can manage.

If you discover any areas of discomfort,

See if you can be aware of them and your breath at the same time as if you are breathing with this area of your body.

You might like to bring in calming,

Soothing energy with your in-breath and soften and let go as much as you can manage with your out-breath.

Become aware of your body and breathe with it for a moment.

Begin to notice the rise and fall of your stomach with your inhale and exhale.

Tune into your lungs as they expand and contract.

Be aware of your breath as it enters and exits your body.

Your gentle,

Nurturing breath is there for you whenever you would like to connect with it.

Become aware of your body and observe the parts that are in contact with the surface beneath you.

Invite in and honor whatever movement your body needs in this moment.

When you feel ready,

Open your eyes and take in your surroundings as if seeing them for the first time.

Allow this to support you in feeling present and centered and ready for the next part of your day.
