In this meditation, we'll guide you to bring your awareness inward, gently observing your body's sensations and breathing deeply. Rest your awareness on those parts of your body that resist the gentle breathing, allowing yourself to dissolve deeper and deeper into relaxation. Trust the process, and you'll find that your mind will feel much more comfortable and at ease, helping you drift back into a peaceful slumber.

Be welcome my friend.

This meditation is specifically designed to that moment when you wake up in the middle of the night and you feel you cannot fall back into deep sleep.

So just connect,

Make sure you're comfortable and we start just to pay attention inwards.

I'm sure that you're finding your mind very busy and really what we're aiming at right now is first of all to calm the mind.

So let's use a beautiful image and visualization that does exactly that.

Let's visualize that we have two lakes in the body.

One lake in the head that right now it's very gushing and very excessive and very stormy.

The other lake is below the navel that actually is arid,

Is dry,

Is empty.

And what we're going to do is start to move and direct this excess stormy down towards the lower abdomen.

All this excess energy that creates so many thoughts we're guiding down aiming to calm our mind.

So let's visualize that between the upper lake and the lower lake there's a beautiful pristine river that right now this river is very small.

It doesn't have a lot of current.

And we're visualizing that we open the gate and every time we exhale we're visualizing that we're sending this water through this beautiful river to flow down and start to fill up the lower lake.

We inhale deep into the body and we're exhaling guiding the excessive upper lake all the way down to the lower lake.

Physically in order to facilitate this transition we're softening the forehead,

We're softening the eye we're visualizing as if all the debris and the blockages are washed down by this beautiful pristine water that's rushing from the top lake into the lower lake.

To make this transition even more powerful we want to add gratitude.

We inhale and we say thank you.

We exhale and we say thank you.

Slowly we feel that this excess in the head and in the area of the forehead and the eyes is softening and we feel more presence in the lower abdomen.

Make sure that the image is very clear and that the results are bound to manifest.

To add even a deeper effect on this meditation now when the lower lake filled up let's enhance the movement all the way down to the feet and to the toes.

So let's change a little bit the image that when we're inhaling we're receiving the water and the energy from the heaven through the upper lake into the lower lake,

Inhale and then when we exhale we're guiding it gently down the legs to the feet and out.

The breath is comfortable,

The mind is quiet focusing only on this movement of the breath and the life force that enters from heaven and then flowing down into the lower abdomen and then when we exhale we're guiding it down through the leg,

Feet and out.

And to go even deeper the next step is to let go of the control breathing and just become aware of that beautiful flow of energy,

Water,

Light in whatever way it comes to your awareness that like cleanse you from heaven to earth.

Now allow your mind to soften completely now you can go back to your beautiful restful sleep.

Good night.

I was able to go back to sleep for a little while . I have a lot on my mind these days and it helped to take my mind off things long enough for a bit .
