Today we will be flowing through the first meditation in the nature series.
Before you begin your practice today,
Find comfort where you are.
Lie down and rest your body,
Flowing with your breath,
Softening your head,
Back,
Arms and legs.
Allow your feet to loosen and gently rest the palms of your hands either beside you or on your abdomen.
Take a moment to just notice the air surrounding you and its stillness.
Take a deep breath in and begin to allow the air to enter your body.
Flowing through every part of you,
Cleansing your whole being.
Keep your breath smooth and soft,
Guiding the air past your body into your mind.
Let it cleanse your thoughts,
Let it refresh your soul.
When we breathe in the air we live,
We exist and we are present here on earth.
Give yourself full commission now to soften your body and really establish yourself in your space.
Begin to imagine that you are lying on a soft,
Steady ground.
There is real comfort here.
Find that comfort wherever you are.
Let the air around you rise up,
Taking you to the sky above.
Start to create an image in your mind of where you are.
You may be floating just barely above the ground.
You can choose to float wherever you like today.
The sky above is blue and sunny,
The sun is shining down on you peacefully.
The air is drifting with you and beginning to carry you.
Feel the cloud beneath you,
Supporting your whole body.
Feel how soft and comfortable the cloud is.
Very calming,
Very relaxing,
Very peaceful as you continue to float through the air.
See the sights around you as you are floating by.
The green grass gently blowing in the breeze.
The trees and the leaves whispering in the air.
The river and lakes rippling.
Begin to imagine where you would like to go.
Your cloud can take you there.
Maybe you want to float above mountains,
Drifting high on their rocky peaks.
Down along the coast of the ocean,
Watching the waves crashing to the shore.
This is your moment to float and be wherever you decide.
Allow the movement of the air,
The softness of the cloud to take you to the places you wish to be.
Enjoy the sights around you,
Enjoy floating in the air.
And now a few moments of journeying visually and meditation.

Now it is time to return to your day.
Let your cloud take you there.
Feel yourself floating gradually back through the sky.
Back to where you need to go.
Let the air gently guide you down.
Back towards the ground.
Drifting and floating.
Begin to notice your surroundings gradually coming back to the present.
Feel the surface beneath you.
Take this opportunity to rest your mind and body in the air that surrounds you.
And the new energy you have gained.
