Welcome to an I Am Yoga Nidra,

The integrative amrit method of yoga nidra.

Make sure you're comfortable,

That you have everything that you need to be supremely comfortable.

Grab an eye pillow close by,

A blanket,

Propping under your legs if needed,

Or your head.

Any areas that might feel a little tender and need additional support.

Now once you feel settled,

Close your eyes and allow your attention to turn inward.

Bring your attention to your breath and feel the body beginning to relax with each progressive exhalation.

Let's take a deep breath in together and chant the sound of om.

Om.

And allow the vibrational impact of the sound to bring the outwardly focused attention inward.

And merge into that silent space.

Be still.

Let go of all thoughts,

Worry,

And tension.

Give yourself fully to a higher power.

Relax.

Trust.

Let go.

Breathe in fully and exhale with a deep sigh.

Breathe in again and exhale with a deep sigh.

And let go even more.

Feel a deep sense of contentment and peace in your heart.

Now bring this intention into your awareness.

I allow myself to change from where I am rather than where I am not.

Now bring attention to your face.

And with the next exhalation,

Allow all expression to drop from the face.

Releasing the tiny muscles around the eyes,

Allowing the eyeballs to rest back into their sockets.

And release the tiny muscles around the mouth,

The tongue resting in the mouth,

The lower jaw gently opening,

Softening.

Allow the cheeks to soften towards the floor,

The scalp resting on the skull,

The neck softening,

Easing.

And simply be available to the entire range of sensations in the face and head.

Now drop into a sense of your whole bodily presence.

Embrace this present moment's experience undistorted by what you like or don't like.

Let go of what is going.

Let come that which is coming.

This becomes your connection to source.

Bringing this inner stillness and gently cover yourself and if you wish,

Place the eye pillow over your eyes,

Adjusting your body in a comfortable position.

Do not fall asleep.

Throughout this entire period,

Remain relaxed and motionless,

Alert and conscious.

Stay in touch with my guidance at all times.

Allow any disturbances,

External or internal,

To draw you deeper within.

In yoga nidra,

You enter the subconscious product field.

Let your mind merge and melt into the energy body and go beyond the boundaries of body and mind.

Now shift from thinking and doing to feeling and being.

Do absolutely nothing from now on.

Simply relax.

Tap into the deepest state of tranquility,

Stillness and peace in the third eye.

Now your consciousness is in direct communion through the energy body.

Now follow my guidance as you begin the mantra breath.

Breathing in fully,

Let the belly rise on the inhalation.

As you exhale,

Let the belly fall as you complete the outgoing breath.

Continue with long,

Slow,

Steady breaths,

Emptying the lungs completely.

On the next breath in,

Silently breathe in the word peace to yourself three times until the lungs are full.

On the next breath out,

Silently repeat the word peace until the exhalation is complete.

Breathe in peace,

Peace,

Peace.

Breathe out peace,

Peace,

Peace.

And continue until I ask you to stop.

Breathing easily and naturally as you repeat.

Deeply engaged and completely absorbed.

Every single cell of your body deeply hearing and receiving this word.

Now breathe normally and let go into silent stillness expanding everywhere.

Now drop into the silent space where all doing stops.

And enter an effortless state of being.

As I name a part of your body,

Let your mind and attention move to that part.

Sense energy following attention,

Bringing healing and balance.

Whole right leg.

Whole right leg.

Whole left leg.

Whole left leg.

Both legs together.

Whole right arm.

Whole right arm.

Whole left arm.

Whole left arm.

Both arms together.

Whole right side of the body.

Whole right side of the body.

Whole left side of the body.

Whole left side of the body.

Both sides of the body together.

Feel the whole body in awareness.

Bring total continuous unbroken awareness to the whole body at the same time.

Imagine you're walking through a beautiful garden.

You're completely alone.

Sense the earth beneath your feet as you walk.

Flowers blooming.

You hear a loud clap of thunder.

The sky has become very dark.

It's starting to rain.

You're watching the raindrops bounce off the blades of grass.

Look around and witness the storm.

Raindrops streaming down your face.

Drenching your clothes.

Just relax and enjoy the feeling of being completely wet.

No concern.

Doesn't matter.

It's very pleasant to get wet.

Now the storm has finished.

You can smell the wet earth.

The sun beginning to shine through the clouds.

Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin drying your clothes.

Look up at the sun and feel its warmth.

Energy penetrating deeply into your skin.

Quenting your body until you feel warm everywhere.

Now you're running in the garden,

Very happy,

Laughter and joy.

All around you,

Birds are singing their beautiful melodies.

Cool and gentle breeze blowing in the trees.

Let's hear the wind rustling in the trees and feel it blowing against your face,

Through your hair.

Within this life-giving air.

Give yourself permission to enter the deepest level of relaxation right now.

Let go.

You will then disappear into stillness.

Merge into the space and be empty.

Tensions,

Thoughts,

Images floating by like clouds in a clear blue sky.

Be the space where it is all happening.

More than enough space.

Hear your intention and affirmations are actualized and fulfilled with effortless ease.

Now bring this intention into your awareness.

I allow myself to change from where I am rather than where I am not.

I allow myself to change from where I am rather than where I am not.

I allow myself to change from where I am rather than where I am not.

Allow this intention to go to the deepest level of recognition with no hesitation.

Have faith and trust that it has been heard and is being acted upon by a higher power of the source within you.

There is no need for you to do anything about it.

Feel your intention being simulated and adopted on all levels of your body and your being.

Fully integrated,

Totally digested,

Fully actualized.

Allow yourself to respond spontaneously and effortlessly to what I say.

I give myself fully into the hands of faith that go beyond all beliefs of right and wrong,

Good and bad.

The moment I get out of my own way,

I open the way from the higher power to come in.

At this time,

Feel the presence of any guides,

Mentors,

Teachers or family members you feel connected to.

You may sense this as a universal force or energy surrounding you,

Guiding you.

Know that this presence surrounds you always.

You can draw on this presence at any time.

If there is any guidance to be received at this time,

Either as a felt sense,

Words or images,

Allow yourself to receive it now.

Otherwise simply rest back in the grace and protection of presence.

Now,

Begin to become aware of the rising and falling of the breath.

And slowly,

Feel yourself beginning to rise to the surface of awareness.

Sense the body resting on the floor,

Quality of the air as it touches the skin.

Slowly,

You can move as if you're waking from a restful sleep.

Bend your knees,

Pull them closer to your chest.

Walk sideways gently.

Just take your time.

Now just turn onto your right side and curl into a fetal position.

Feel the safety,

Comfort and protection of the womb of existence.

Bring your intention into awareness again.

I allow myself to change from where I am rather than where I am not.

Change nothing.

Every time you find yourself in reaction,

You are empowered to replace it with your intention.

Gradually,

You can move and begin to sit up with your eyes closed.

And remain deeply connected to this inner experience.

Regardless of what you consciously recognize has or has not changed,

Know that something deep within has shifted to connect you with your intention.

Become aware of your body.

Bring a deep sense of peace and contentment with you as you bring attention back to the body.

Realize how relaxed the body is,

How soft the breath is,

How silent the mind is,

And how quiet the heartbeat is.

Be still and be grateful.

Know that you can easily enter here again and again.

Now you may gradually open your eyes.
