Mini Retreat: A Day of Mindfulness and Loving-Kindness

with Hugh Byrne

The 20th Century Indian spiritual teacher Sri Nisagardatta said: ‘Wisdom tells me I’m nothing. Love tells me I’m everything. Between these two, my life flows.’ Join Hugh in this mini-retreat to find the peace that is always available when we say yes to the present moment. Loving-kindness and self-compassion are qualities of open-heartedness—towards ourselves and the world—which we can cultivate to help dissolve fear and live with joy amidst both life’s pleasures and pains. In these challenging times, the practices of mindfulness and loving-kindness are powerful supports that help us work with difficult emotions, mind states, and life circumstances. With kindness, warmth, and humor, and through talks, poetry, stories, and guided meditations, Hugh Byrne brings the wisdom and compassion of Buddhist teachings of mindfulness, compassion, and loving-kindness to help us live fully in the midst of life’s joys and sorrows. For those based in the US, you can take advantage of our Buy Now, Pay Later option at checkout. Due to differences in time zones, we understand that not everyone will be able to join the session live. But that doesn’t mean you need to miss out. You can still purchase the workshop and the recordings will be sent to you after the session.
