I am a caregiver.
I love and care about everyone around me.
It is in my core belief system and my highest value system to care and help others.
I want to nurture them.
I want to protect them.
I work so hard at doing this in my work environment,
In my home,
With my friends.
Sometimes I forget to care about myself.
I need to nurture and care for myself.
To allow others to nurture and care for me.
To accept help and nurturing.
When people offer this to me.
To give myself space to not work so hard.
I don't have to work so hard.
I don't have to try because it's in my innate,
Natural nature to do this.
It is my birthright.
It is my gift.
It is who I am.
I am reliable and responsible and everybody knows this.
Sometimes I can say no.
I don't have time.
I can't do it to the best of my ability.
I have too much on my plate.
It is okay to say no.
Because people can nurture and care for themselves too.
I have taught them well and they know that when they really truly need me.
I am here.
I am strong.
I am their backbone.
I will support them.
But I will also let them be who they are.
Let them learn.
Let them stumble.
Let them fall.
Let them experience life just as I have.
I believe in them and I believe in me.
I am a good,
Stable,
Loyal,
Strong,
Reliable,
Responsible,
Wonderful,
Caregiving,
Amazing person.
I am.
I have helped and nurtured and cared for and supported so many people.
It's time for me.
It's time for a break.
It's time to find a new direction.
It's time to support myself.
To surrender.
To surrender into the cradles of the arms of the universe.
And let it take care of me.
Let it flow.
Let me ride the wave.
I will go with the flow.
I will not try to control my future,
Know my future,
Think about my future.
I will just think about now,
Cradle in the moment of now.
