Self-worth is defined by Merriam-Webster as “a feeling that you are a good person who deserves to be treated with respect”. On the other hand, self-value is “more behavioral than emotional, more about how you act toward what you value, including yourself than how you feel about yourself compared to others” (Stosny, 2014).

Affirmations of self-worth Before I move on to the affirmational meditation of self-worth,

I want to remind you of the power of your mind,

The power of your brain,

Which is a computer in which we download information through our senses and also through our heart center.

Our brain will navigate and broadcast what you download into it.

And therefore when you do say affirmations,

Even if you don't feel it's true,

Even if you don't think that's who you are,

Your brain doesn't know that.

It only downloads through the sense of hearing as I say these affirmations.

And I'll give you an example.

Imagine that you have a lemon in your hand and I want you to put it on a table and imagine that you take that lemon,

That big fat juicing lemon and you take a knife,

A very sharp knife and you cut that into four quarters.

I want you to take one of those quarters.

I want you to put it in your hand,

Give it a little squeeze so that you can see those,

That lemony sour juice in that quarter of a lemon.

And now I want you to put that in your mouth and take your teeth and take a big bite out of that lemon.

Is your mouth now salivating?

Do you have a lemon?

No.

Is there a lemon in your mouth?

No.

But your brain doesn't know that.

It thinks you're about to put a lemon in there so it starts to signal to the body to create saliva to manage the sourness of that lemon.

Let's move on to the affirmation.

Are you ready?

I am worthy.

I am loved.

I am enough.

I am whole just as I am.

I give myself unconditional love.

I feel great about who I am.

My life is amazing.

I have unlimited power.

I believe in myself and my power.

Others love me for who I am.

I treat myself with respect and honor.

People treat me with respect.

I view myself through kind eyes.

I treat myself as I would treat others.

I treat myself and value myself as I would like others to value and treat me.

I feel comfortable speaking my mind.

I love to share my thoughts and my ideas.

I have unique and special ideas.

I'm going to share them with the world.

I am grateful for the amazing wonderful things in my life.

I deserve everything I desire.

My life is rewarding and filled with joy.

I'm blessed.

My life is full of adventure and incredible experiences.

I accept and embrace myself for who I am.

I love who I am.

I'm creative,

I'm flexible,

And I go with the flow of life.

I expect the best for myself.

The universe is generous with health,

Joy,

And abundance.

I learn and I grow every day.

I adopt and change to my circumstances.

I flow like the river.

I am worthy of the abundance.

I am worthy of amazing experiences.

I feel joyful to look at how far I've come.

I appreciate all the lessons that life has taught me.

I grow and I am becoming a better version of myself every single day.

I'm confident and intelligent.

I love myself more every day.

I appreciate myself.

I give praise to myself and to others naturally and effortlessly.

I forgive myself.

I forgive others.

I easily can become optimistic and positive,

Courageous and outgoing,

And I fearlessly follow my dreams.

I am capable of achieving everything I want.

My life is a blessing and I am loved.

I love myself,

Accept myself,

And forgive myself.

I know myself and I honor my boundaries.

I radiate self-confidence.

I have great potential that I tap into every single day.

I can achieve anything I put my mind to,

And I make a difference in the world.
