This is a very short guided medition to re-ground you using visualisations of nature. Sit in a comfortable position, closing your eyes to remove distractions and become aware of the sensations in your body as you relax and feel grounded.

Sitting comfortably,

Close your eyes,

Take a breath in,

And let it out,

And again.

Allow yourself now to imagine that you are sitting in a very big tree.

You are sitting in the bow of the tree,

And you are comfortable and safe.

Feel the tree behind you and under you,

And feel the connection.

Breathing in,

And as you breathe out,

Allow yourself to let go of anything that you no longer need.

On the next breath in,

Feel your own pulse,

Your heartbeat.

You become aware of the tree surrounding you.

You begin to feel connected with the tree,

And imagine that you can feel the pulse of the tree.

And as you do this,

You become aware of the deep roots that the tree has,

And its connection with Mother Earth,

And the energy that flows.

As you breathe out,

You become aware of the roots,

And as they span down and out.

And as you breathe in,

You become aware of the energy that flows up from the Earth.

Breathing out,

Becoming aware of the roots as they span out,

And breathing in,

Feeling the energy and groundedness of the Earth.

Do this again,

And when you're ready,

You can open your eyes.
