Welcome to this end of day gratitude practice.

Notice your breath and on the next breath out let all the air go,

Pushing out any stale air from your lungs,

Making room for a new breath.

And on the next breath out let go of any tension from the day,

Tension in your body,

Emotional tension,

Just letting it all go.

Now run through your day from the moment you woke up,

Remembering what happened and how it flowed.

What did you do?

What did you experience today?

What did you achieve?

Reflect on how you felt as you moved through today.

What was there to be grateful for?

An interaction with someone or something?

Did you smile today?

Did you laugh,

Have fun?

Did you see,

Hear or did you feel something pleasant or inspiring or lovely today?

For now pick one thing that you are grateful for and as you think of that thing or moment or feeling,

Consider what it is about it that you feel gratitude for.

Really tap into that feeling of gratitude,

Thankfulness,

Heartfelt appreciation,

Feeling fortunate to have had this in your life today.

Recognize this feeling as linked to gratitude.

You may find that this may become a more familiar feeling as you come to notice and experience more and more of what you love and enjoy in life.

You may practice this short meditation daily to embed a habit of reflecting on the day and appreciating the moments in your life.
