As we begin the journey to deepening wholehearted connection to yourself,

Let's ground the body by planting your feet firmly on the floor and allowing the rest of your body to settle into wherever it is you're resting for this meditation and find a posture that feels comfortable yet dignified.

There's a flexibility to the way that your body is resting but you're upright enough to be alert as you participate in this guided meditation.

And as you begin to get grounded,

Just check in with yourself in your body and notice anything that's alive.

Maybe a sharp sensation of some kind or a dull ache.

There may be nothing that you notice.

Whatever it is,

Just bring your awareness to the experience without judging it,

Without trying to push it away.

Bring curiosity to whatever it is that is alive within you right now in this moment.

And if you're not connecting to any particular sensation,

You can always bring your attention to your breathing.

Notice the in-breath.

Notice the out-breath.

And let your attention settle there on this breath.

And as I guide you towards connecting wholeheartedly,

Wholeheartedly to yourself,

You might opt to place your hand over your heart center or focus your awareness on your heart center and allow my words to penetrate as you embark on wholeheartedly connecting to the part of you where love lives.

And as I continue to guide,

You might find yourself wanting to breathe deeply as a mechanism of allowing the penetration of wholehearted connection to self.

Your heart is where love lives and it's the sacred place of truth.

You possess a deep knowing,

A deep knowing of what is right for you,

An intuitive guide towards where you should go,

What you should do and with who.

You possess safety,

Care,

And unconditional love.

Your wholehearted nature is where you are most yourself.

It is where you see and know all of your experiences with wisdom.

Your wholehearted nature is the impulse you have to live in integrity,

To be kind to yourself and others,

To take care of yourself with gentle and tender reliability.

Lean into your heart.

Allow its wisdom to light the way.

When heart holds court,

Fear subsides and liberation deepens.

As you continue on over the course of the next series of moments,

Stay reminded that you always have your wholehearted nature to come home to and that you can trust that place within you to be safe and true and unwavering in its loving stance.

And as we close out this meditation,

You can bring your attention back to your body,

You can focus on your breath or some other object that's alive with sensation.

Focus the way it moves and changes from moment to moment.

Knowing that all the while wholehearted nature is there to guide you.

When you're ready,

You can start to wiggle your toes,

Wiggle your fingers,

Stretch your limbs,

Extend your arms,

Move your neck from side to side,

Maybe shake out your shoulders.

Wake up the body a bit.

Can open your eyes.

Switch yourself to the space you're in.

Notice anything that's catching your attention,

Any colors,

Any objects.

Thank you for joining me in this meditation and may you be peaceful as you continue on.

Beautiful meditation- very peaceful connecting to wholeheartedness. One note: I changed the phrasing m, what ‘should’ I be doing to what do I want to be doing. Words line ‘should’ raise my resistance walls (don’t should on yourself) namaste 🙏
