Welcome to this new moon meditation.
Today I will guide you through setting your intentions for the lunar cycle ahead.
Setting intentions is about how you want to feel or how you want to be rather than what you want to do.
Focus on the feeling you want to achieve without worrying about how you'll get there.
To start with get yourself into a comfortable position either sitting down or lying and start to focus on your breath.
Inhale deeply and then exhale.
Inhale and fill your body with peace.
Exhale and release any tension.
Breathe in and let the air circulate around your body bringing nourishment to all your cells.
Exhale and release what your body no longer needs.
Continue to focus on your breathing.
Inhaling deeply and exhaling to release everything that you no longer need.
Feel your body sink into relaxation.
If your mind starts to wander just gently bring it back to your breath.
Focus on inhaling deeply and exhaling.
Let go of any tension you might feel in your feet,
Your legs,
Your fingers,
Your arms,
Your shoulders,
Your chest,
Your neck,
Your face.
Completely relax.
Release any tension that your body is still holding.
As you exhale release that tension.
Now that you are feeling completely relaxed bring to your mind's eye what you would like to feel like.
How would you like your life to feel?
What feelings do you want to feel regularly?
Do you want to feel confident?
Do you want to feel love?
Do you want to feel peace?
Bring to your mind that feeling.
How do you intend to feel?
Perhaps you want to feel more abundant in your life.
You can manifest any feeling you want to achieve.
It all starts with setting the intention.
It is pure for you to set your intention.
It is healthy for you to feel how you want to feel.
You are allowed to manifest your desires.
Bring your intention to your mind and repeat it in your head.
I am confident.
My life is abundant.
I love myself wholly and purely.
I am at peace with the world.
Repeat your intention,
Whichever that may be,
Over and over in your head.
Feel the feeling that your life is abundant or at peace or full of love or confidence.
Let that feeling radiate through your body.
Feel that feeling tingle right down to the tips of your fingers,
All the way down to the tips of your toes.
Let that feeling sink right into every cell of your body.
When you are ready,
Give your toes a little wiggle.
Stretch your fingers.
Slowly bring your awareness back to your body.
Bring your awareness back to the room where you were sitting or lying.
Bring your awareness back to the present.
