Let your eyes take in all the colors, textures, and layers of definition you see. As the air passes through your nostrils, notice if there are any smells.

Hello everyone and welcome to another mindful moment.

Let's go ahead and find a comfortable seat.

Settle in adjusting any body parts that need a little attention.

And let's connect to our breath.

Nice deep inhale.

And let's take a slow exhale.

And for the beginning part of this practice I invite you to keep your eyes open.

As you connect to your breath,

Take a moment and open your senses.

Feel your hips connected to the chair or the floor,

Whatever it is that's holding you.

Look around and let your eyes take in all the colors,

Textures,

Layers of definition that you see.

As the air passes through your nostrils,

Notice if you are aware of any smells.

And as you swallow and feel your tongue and your throat move together,

Are there any tastes?

Take a minute to notice what sounds are in your area,

Those that are close to you,

And those that are further away at a distance.

Let's take another deep breath in.

And slow exhale.

And I invite you to close your eyes and drop inside.

What is your internal landscape?

Notice sensations in your body.

Notice the quality of your mind.

Your overall state of being.

Take a moment,

Connecting to your breath,

And release.

Let's take a minute to let our lips lift just a little bit,

Letting a small smile come to your mouth.

And for a moment,

Let's give thanks for this day and for this time together.

Let's take one more deep breath into gratitude.

And release.

Staying with this presence,

Let's open our eyes.

And again,

Take one more scan of your environment.

Taking that half smile on your lips and on your face,

Sharing gratitude with your surroundings.

Gratitude for this moment.

Taking one more deep breath in.

And release.

You are welcome to stay here as long as feels comfortable for you today.

Thank you for taking this time to sit.

Breathe.

Notice.

And observe.

Simple moment of gratitude and being.
