Hello everyone,
And welcome to another mindful moment.
Today is a practice in listening and smiling.
As I sit here,
I can hear the raindrops falling from the sky.
I hear the birds singing the call of the morning.
Listening.
A car passing by.
Larger drops of water falling from the trees.
We pause so we can be a part of what's happening right here.
And right now.
And in this moment,
I invite you to bring a gentle smile to your lips.
Ever so slightly lifting the corners of your mouth.
Your eyes,
Comfortable.
Open or closed.
Maybe you try both.
Sitting,
Listening,
Eyes closed.
Sitting,
Listening,
Eyes open.
Each bird has a unique call.
We too have a unique voice.
Listening,
Breathing,
Smiling.
Open your senses to your world.
Your home,
Your surroundings,
Wherever you are.
Do you hear nearby you or off in the distance?
And if you have earbuds in or headphones on.
Listening to the sounds.
In this recording.
The different tones of the water dropping.
Different birds singing.
And we can listen within.
Listening to the voice of our heart.
Our intuition.
Listening to the sounds of our body.
The breath as it enters and exits the body.
And then that gentle smile onto your lips.
Bringing our awareness to what is in this very sacred and special moment.
And if the mind is chatty and has so much to say.
You can have a moment to listen to it too.
Breathing.
Awareness in your body.
Sensations that you feel.
They too are like a voice.
What are they telling you?
And are you willing to listen?
Breathing.
Connection to the body.
Connecting to your senses.
Listening.
Welcoming.
Releasing.
Accepting.
Feeling your cheeks lift.
And if your smile widens.
Feeling the separation of your lips.
Feeling your face brighten.
Lift.
And allow yourself the gift of a big smile.
Keep it there.
Feel it.
How does your face feel?
Smiling.
Listening.
How does your body react?
When we listen to our body.
We can connect to what's going on inside of us.
And we create space to allow what it is we are hearing.
And we listen.
And we hold space for ourselves through our breath.
Bringing your awareness to the sounds you hear around you.
Feeling the rise of your chest.
And the body relax on the exhale.
Noticing the expansion of your belly.
And the release.
Listening.
Smiling.
Breathing.
You have these tools.
They are free.
And accessible to you at all times.
Listening.
Smiling.
Breathing.
As you go about your day,
I invite you to listen more.
Listen to what is happening around you.
Listening to what your body is speaking to you.
I invite you to smile.
That this moment is your gift.
Smile with love.
Smile with gratitude.
Smile with peace.
And breathing.
Breathing in love.
Exhaling doubt.
Fear.
Inhaling strength.
Exhaling shame.
Let's take one more deep breath together.
Inhaling love.
Smiling gratitude.
Listening to this moment.
And releasing pure surrender to what is.
Smiling ear to ear.
