Sit facing each other,
Close enough so that your knees are almost touching,
But not quite.
Decide between the two of you who will be number one and who will be number two.
Take a deep breath together and close your eyes.
Tune in to your auditory sense and notice the sounds around you.
Notice the ones that are distant and the ones that are close.
Those that are consistent and those that come and go.
Squeeze your own hand into a ball or fist.
Now open your hand and touch different parts of your body,
Becoming aware of the different sensations that you have throughout your own body.
The temperature,
The texture of the skin and feel the motion that is happening beneath the skin.
Release your hands and breathe in through your nose.
Notice any smells in your environment,
Even if it is just the smell of air.
Maybe you smell something subtle,
Maybe something strong,
Or maybe nothing at all.
Simply be aware.
Place any hand on top of your heart center,
At the center of your chest.
Feel your breath moving in and out of your body.
Marvel at the whole system of your body,
Functioning in its miraculous state,
Harmoniously and perfectly.

The person who is going first.
Very slowly begin moving your hand away from the center of your chest.
Become aware of any sensations in your hand and stop moving your hand when those sensations change.
Take a moment and then continue moving and stop again as those sensations change yet again.
Continue until you are almost at arm's length.
When you are almost at arm's length,
Turn your hand around to face the palm of your hand in front of your partner's chest,
Their heart center.
Become aware of the sensations you experience in the palm of your hand.
Partner number two.
Send a feeling of warmth,
Love and compassion from your heart center to the hand of your partner.
For a few seconds,
Remain present to the experience.
Take a deep breath together.
Let go of the connection.
Partner number one.
Begin moving your hand back towards yourself and notice again any changes in sensation and experience.
Stop when you feel a change and then after a moment,
Keep going.
Stop again when you feel a change until you are back at your own heart center.
Partner number two.
Begin moving your hand.
Place your hand back at the center of your chest with your palm down.
Partner number two.
Very slowly begin moving your hand away from the center of your chest.
Become aware of any sensations in your hand and stop moving your hand when those sensations change.
Take a moment and then continue moving and stop again as those sensations change yet again.
Continue until you are almost at arm's length.
When you are almost at arm's length,

Both partners,
Relax your hands down to your lap,
Allowing your entire body to become receptive.
As if your entire body was the palm of your hand.
In the same way that you felt your partner through the palm of your hand,
Feel them through your entire body.
Send each other warmth,
Love,
Compassion and sweetness.
Be open to receive from your partner in the way that they are offering to you,
Not in the same way that you are offering to them.
Be aware that their love for you feels different than your love for them.
Receive their love as it is being offered without expectations,
Recognizing that we all have an imprint of what love is supposed to be.
Release your expectations and receive the love exactly as it is being offered to you.
Be open to receive from your partner in the way that they are offering to you.

Bring your hands to the center of your chest together.

Look into each other's eyes with deep reverence,
Love and forgiveness.
Bow your heads in gratitude to each other.
Close your eyes again.
Allow your consciousness to release your partner with deep gratitude.
And start moving your body and stretching it as it feels good to you.
Take your time.
