Meditation on marriage.

Sit in a relaxed position.

Allow your gaze to become soft and slowly close your eyes.

Breathe fully and deeply,

Relaxing your body and mind completely.

Take all the time you need to relax and let go.

Take a deep breath.

Set your intention to connect to the silent mystery of the unity within you.

Ask for guidance from the higher force of your understanding to support you in this process.

With every breath,

Let the warmth and relaxation sink deeper into your body.

Contemplate these questions.

What is the feeling I seek when I desire to connect with a friend?

What is the feeling I seek when I desire romantic love?

And deeper and deeper,

Exploring the source of these feelings.

Observe how these feelings exist within you and that you can recall them even without the presence of another person.

Enquire what is my internal experience of marriage,

Of unity within myself?

What would my relationships look like if I approached them from this place of unity within me?

Slowly turn your attention back to your breath.

Let the questions float around your mind and slowly fade away.

Allow your intuitive intelligence to show you a place in your body that holds the experience of marriage or unity.

Take a deep breath and gently stretch your body in any way that feels good to you.

As thoughts begin to enter your mind,

Remember that through rooting into the wisdom of your own body,

You can reconnect to this experience of unity at any time.

Take several deep breaths and come home,

Returning fully to the present moment.

When you are ready,

Take some time to journal,

Draw,

Sing,

Play music,

Dance,

Anything that allows the energy of this meditation to continue to flow through you.
