Welcome.
This morning practice is an invitation to arrive,
Not only fully into your body,
But into being alive again today.
There is nothing you need to do to earn this moment.
Nothing you need to improve or prepare.
We'll move slowly,
Allowing awareness to settle on its own.
So clarity,
Steadiness,
And presence can rise naturally from within.
Let yourself be here,
Exactly as you are.
Begin by noticing the surface beneath you.
Feel where your body makes contact,
The weight of your bones,
The places where you are held.
Allow that contact to register,
As if the body is remembering that it doesn't have to carry itself.
Let the weight of you move downward,
Supported,
Without effort.
Bring your attention to the breath,
Not to change it,
Not to deepen it,
Simply to notice that breathing is already happening.
Feeling the inhale,
And relishing in the exhale.
Let the exhale soften you.
Let it signal to the body that it has permission to arrive.
Now,
Begin to gently listen inward.
Notice the jaw,
The space around the mouth.
If there's holding,
Allow it to ease,
Not by force,
But by permission.
Notice the shoulders,
Whether they're lifted,
Braced,
Or resting.
Let them drop a fraction,
Just enough to feel the difference.
Feel the belly,
Not pulled in,
Not pushed out,
Simply present.
And feel your spine rising naturally,
Without effort,
As though the body knows how to organize itself.
Let sensation guide you now.
Rather than directing the body,
Allow your body to inform you.
Now,
Rest here.
Breath moving.
Body present.
Awareness awake.
You don't need to label anything.
You don't need to understand what's happening.
This is presence as something lived,
Not something you create.
If the mind wanders,
Gently return to sensation,
To the feeling of breath in the chest,
Or the weight of the body below you,
Or the simple fact of being here.
Notice the quiet intelligence of your body doing what it knows how to do.
There is nothing missing in this moment.
Now,
Sense the quality of this moment.
Not as a task,
Not as a practice,
But as a threshold.
Another morning,
Another beginning.
Feel how life is already moving through you.
Breath,
Warmth,
Sensation,
Awareness.
You don't have to decide who you are today.
You don't have to anticipate what's coming.
Simply feel what it's like to be here before the day asks anything of you.
As we begin to close,
Sense your body once more.
Notice the steadiness that's here now,
The quiet clarity available to you.
There's no need to rush forward.
Let this presence remain with you,
Not as something to carry,
But as something already established within.
