Hello,
My name is Heather and I'm so happy and grateful that you're joining me today for this root chakra healing meditation.
Our chakras are major energy centers of the body.
They're sort of like energetic junctions that metabolize all of our experiences.
When they are open and functioning optimally,
We can allow ourselves to fully feel the whole spectrum of human emotions and always come back to a grounded,
Peaceful and content state.
But when we've had challenging experiences,
Sometimes some of the chakras can get a little blocked or distorted and that can create energetic blockages that result in emotional difficulties and eventually maybe even some physical issues in the body.
The good news is that when we begin to pay attention to our needs and to take good care of ourselves as you're doing right now,
We can always heal these energy centers.
The root chakra is all about our identity,
Stability,
Security and safety in the world.
If it's blocked we can find ourselves experiencing a lot of anxiety,
Fear and worry.
Physical problems in the body resulting from a blocked or distorted root chakra include issues with bones,
Joints,
Skin problems and issues with the immune system.
This meditation will help you to free any blocked or stagnant energy related to the root chakra.
At the end I'll offer some powerful healing affirmations.
You can repeat the affirmations out loud if you like or silently in your mind or you can also just let my words wash over you as your subconscious mind absorbs their healing energy.
For you to get the most out of this meditation it's really important that you allow yourself to fully feel anything that may come to the surface as you listen to the words and connect with yourself.
There is never any right or wrong way to feel during meditation.
However you feel know that it's absolutely normal and healthy.
Your emotional experience whatever it is is always valid.
When we allow ourselves to truly feel we free that energy enabling us to return to our natural connected state of inner peace.
So let's get started.
So just find yourself in a comfortable position ideally sitting down if you can with your feet planted firmly on the ground and your hands resting gently by your side palms facing up allow your shoulders to soften and relax let your arms feel heavy loose bring your attention to your eyes relax all the tiny muscles in and around your eyes and if you haven't already done so just allow your eyes to gently float closed and you're already beginning to feel more and more relaxed connected to yourself inwardly focused take a nice deep breath in through your nose and breathe out as slowly as you can through the mouth or the nose allowing your mind to calm as you let go of anything that is not serving you right here right now we're going to do that together another two times so again another long slow deep breath in through the nose and breathe out slowly and one last time take a deep breath in and release that breath slowly maybe sighing or making any sound that wants to be released as you let go let loose and go deeper into relaxation and now just let your breath return to a natural relaxed rhythm and just notice how you feel in your body in this moment notice if there are any areas of constriction tightness or discomfort and if there are just consciously breathe into those areas as you soften notice accept and relax you're doing so well notice how your mind is today notice how fast or slow thoughts are coming and just remember that you are not any of the thoughts and you don't have to get caught up in any of the stories your mind might be offering you you can just observe the thoughts the thoughts are just like waves sometimes stormy sometimes gentle and you you are the ocean the ocean doesn't mind the waves bring your attention to your feet and notice the weights of your feet being drawn towards the natural pull of the earth I invite you to imagine roots coming down from your feet and connecting deep into the earth these roots are thick and strong they anchor you into the safety of mother earth you are held you are safe here as you breathe in imagine breathing in through the soles of your feet and a healing light traveling up from the earth through these strong roots into your physical body the light travels up your legs to the base of your spine and now bring your attention gently to this area the very base of your spine the end of your tailbone this is the location of the root chakra I invite you to imagine a wheel or vortex of bright red light spinning at the base of your spine in a clockwise direction however you see,
Feel,
Sense or imagine this is the right way for you we're all different and remember there is no right or wrong way to experience this the red spinning wheel grows stronger and brighter drawing in the powerful energy from the earth this universal life force energy just notice how you feel and allow your experience to be whatever it is today resist nothing let everything flow if there is something you need to feel,
Feel it fully let it come to the surface to be healed and released I'm going to leave you with the music for just a couple of minutes as you let anything arise any insight,

Ideas,
