Take this mindful moment to do just one thing.

Smile.

That's right,

Smile.

Allow the edges of your mouth to curve,

Pushing your cheekbones high.

Maybe let it just be soft and subtle at first,

Noticing the initial feelings that this brings.

If you really don't feel like smiling right now,

This might actually feel difficult.

That's okay.

Just commit to finding any smile.

As you sit here,

Allow the smile to expand a little more,

Growing not only across your mouth and your face more genuinely,

But also into your entire being.

Feel the lightness,

Joy,

And contentment radiate just as it does in moments of ultimate happiness,

Where the smile was originally birthed.

Let the force of the smile go,

And instead,

Choose to let it stick around a little more intentionally,

Maybe even lifting into small moments of laughter,

Letting your body take this one smile and manifest it into many.

Know that right now,

In this exact moment,

There is nowhere else to be,

Nothing else to do except here with this smile.

As you find yourself in moments of tension and frustration today,

This week,

This lifetime ahead,

Take a moment to yourself and do just one thing,

Smile.
