Take a moment to appreciate all that your body has done for you today.

Reflect on all the complex problems your mind has been met with and solved.

Think of all that your eyes saw for you,

Ears heard for you,

Nose smelled for you,

And mouth tasted for you,

Alerting you to danger and allowing you to experience life in all its capacities.

What else did these things do for you today?

Bring one hand over your heart and feel the way it beats for you,

Sending the perfect dose of nourishment to every working part of your body.

What else did your heart do for you today?

Bring the same hand down over your belly.

Feel the way your breath has risen and fallen for you in every waking and sleeping moment.

What else has your breath done for you today?

Appreciate all of the working organs of your body,

Maybe a stomach that digests for you,

A liver that detoxes for you,

Kidneys that regulate for you,

And so many more unique to you.

Just take a moment to say thank you for they do all of this work completely unasked.

Think of the support your bones,

Muscles,

And ligaments give you,

The strong base of support they offer,

And any mobility and freedom they bring.

How did your bones,

Muscles,

And ligaments ground or move you today?

And thank your fingernails,

Your toenails,

And your skin for protecting you and aiding you all day long.

Thank your hands for helping you reach,

Grab,

Open,

Close,

Write,

Play,

Create.

What else did your hands do for you today?

Thank your feet for allowing you to walk,

Run,

Stand,

Sit,

Navigate.

What else did your feet do for you today?

Thank any aches,

Pains,

Or ailments for what they're telling you,

Asking of you,

Or trying to communicate with you.

Where do you notice this tension and what is it saying to you today?

Thank your body,

Thank your mind for all that they do,

All that they have done,

And all that they will continue to do.

Envelope yourself in a full body hug repeating after me,

I love you,

I'm proud of you,

I'm here for you,

And thank you.
