Bring one hand over your heart and feel the way it beats for you,
Sending the perfect dose of nourishment to every working part of your body.

Bring the same hand down over your belly.
Feel the way your breath has risen and fallen for you in every waking and sleeping moment.

Appreciate all of the working organs of your body,
Maybe a stomach that digests for you,
A liver that detoxes for you,
Kidneys that regulate for you,
And so many more unique to you.
Just take a moment to say thank you for they do all of this work completely unasked.
Think of the support your bones,
Muscles,
And ligaments give you,
The strong base of support they offer,
And any mobility and freedom they bring.

And thank your fingernails,
Your toenails,
And your skin for protecting you and aiding you all day long.
Thank your hands for helping you reach,
Grab,
Open,
Close,
Write,
Play,
Create.

Thank your feet for allowing you to walk,

Thank any aches,
Pains,
