Welcome to this gratitude meditation.
Sit or lie comfortably,
Completely at ease.
Close your eyes,
Relax your jaw,
Relax your shoulders.
Notice your breath,
Gently inhaling into the nose,
Gently exhaling out of the mouth.
Notice your arms laying peacefully by your sides,
Heavy and relaxed,
And begin to feel a deep sense of gratitude about the things in your life.
You may feel grateful for something you have,
So bring into your mind those objects you are grateful for,
Such as your home or your bed.
Breathing deeply into your thoughts as you imagine these things,
And as you exhale,
Whisper to yourself,
Thank you.
Breathing in and breathing out,
Express gratitude for the people you know.
Allow these people or even animals to enter your mind.
See them clearly,
Breathing deeply into your imagination,
Breathing out,
Whisper to yourself,
Thank you.
Become grateful for yourself,
Your health,
Your wisdom,
Your kindness.
Be grateful for the times you stood up for yourself or for someone else.
Be grateful for your ability to love others.
Breathe in deeply,
Imagining that you can actually give yourself a hug and whisper,
Thank you.
Breathing in and breathing out,
Expressing gratitude for even the smallest things,
Whatever small things pop into your mind right now,
Be grateful for them.
Breathing in again,
Feeling the importance of even the little things,
Exhaling,
Whispering to yourself,
Thank you.
Take a nice breath in,
Be grateful for your breath,
Which brings you life.
Let your breath fall away.
When you exhale,
Feel your body sinking deeper into relaxation.
Now take some time to focus on the world around you,
Feeling even more gratitude.
All you have to do is think about the things you are grateful for and they expand and grow.
Live the present moments without obsession,
By being connected all the time to gratitude.
Bring into your mind's eye all of that which swells your heart with love.
When is the last time you felt goosebumps over a beautiful moment?
Focus on the sounds,
Sights,
Smells,
And feelings.
Feel that tingle on your skin that is the uncontrollable response to being in the presence of beauty and all of the awareness of love.
Reside in that moment of love for three breaths,
In and out,
Breathing in and exhaling.
Breathing in again and exhaling.
Breathing in,
Feeling the beauty of all these things growing inside of you.
Breathing out,
Allowing these things to grow so large that they force out anything that consumes your energy and your peace.
Bring all of your awareness to your heart and the love that you carry with you for all these things that you sometimes forget you have.
Continuing to breathe,
Recognizing the strength that focusing on these things bring you.
See yourself twinkling like a star and hear yourself saying to yourself these words,
I am grateful for this moment.
I embrace each day with gratitude.
I am grateful for my dreams and desires because I know that they are manifesting right now.
Every day I am more mindful of the small blessings that I can be thankful for.
I am so grateful for discovering my ability to create the reality that I love.
I am grateful for the beauty of life.
I am grateful for the privileges that I have been blessed with.
I am thankful for each and every day.
I am grateful for my friends and my family.
Now give thanks to anything and everything you can possibly think of.
Gently draw your awareness to the present moment,
Wiggling your toes and your fingers,
Gently opening your eyes.
Let's take one more breath into the nose and an exhale out of the mouth.
