In this brief meditation we will use our breath to bring into our lives with our inhale those things we desire and we will exhale that which no longer serves us.
This is a very powerful metaphor.
Relax your jaw,
Relax your shoulders,
Try to release any excess tension you might feel in your body.
Let's inhale hope,
Exhale worry.
Inhale compassion,
Exhale self-concern.
Inhale forgiveness,
Exhale bitterness.
Inhale optimism,
Exhale pessimism.
Inhale patience,
Exhale anger.
Inhale gratitude,
Exhale discontent.
Inhale serenity,
Exhale anxiety.
Inhale acceptance,
Exhale resistance.
Inhale courage,
Exhale fear.
Inhale wisdom,
Exhale doubt.
Inhale curiosity,
Exhale judgment.
Inhale forgiveness,
Exhale resentment.
Inhale joyfulness,
Exhale gloom.
