The Force of Love,
By Annie Stopak.
Settle into your heart.
Be open to receive whatever comes up today.
Your heart is gentle and should be handled with care.
Begin by coming to a seated position or lying flat with your hands on your heart.
Take a deep breath in and on the exhale gently close your eyes.
Make a point to visualize your heart beating within you.
Explore it as if you are getting to know it,
Like a new friend.
The soft pink color,
The sound of the beat,
Settle in to how it feels.
Our heart is full of kindness and warmth and once we tap into it properly,
There's infinite potential for a new life,
Full of vulnerability and love.
It will increase our sensory awareness and our potential to give and receive love.
When this part of us is blocked,
We often form a wall around it that doesn't allow us to stay in tune with its tenderness.
Today we chip away at the wall,
Allowing energy to flow freely to and from it.
As we ground,
Gently relax your body into the earth,
Envisioning the base of your spine or your root chakra as one below you.
As you sink deeper,
Imagine a ball of energy starting at the root chakra,
Moving up to the sacral chakra,
Then to the solar plexus in the stomach,
The throat,
The third eye,
And then releasing itself out of the crown of the head.
Let this permeate through every fiber of your being.
As you continue to envision the chakras,
Remain steadfast into the earth.
It will bridge this disconnect between the heart,
The body,
And the mind.
Today,
We connect to the feelings of hurt that have accumulated in our minds.
Perhaps it's rejection,
Grief,
Loss,
Shame,
Or simply hurtful words.
With both hands gently on your heart,
Tune in to this pain.
What does it feel like?
We must feel it in order to move through it.
How would you describe the pain?
Now pretend that this pain resembles a small thorn that is wrapped around your heart.
Imagine yourself asking the thorn to tell you what you need to know.
Tell it gently.
You've nestled here for a while.
What are you trying to do?
What are you trying to teach me?
What do I need to know before you are removed?
Ask your thorn,
Is it okay to let you go?
As you send energy to cleanse this area of your heart,
Remain as light and airy as possible,
Allowing the breath to move through you with ease.
Take a deep breath in now.
I release my inner thorn.
Take a deep breath out.
I am free.
Take a deep breath in.
I release my inner thorn.
Take a deep breath out.
I am free.
Take a deep breath in.
I release my inner thorn.
Take a deep breath out.
I am free.
As we begin to heal and fall into a deeper state,
Fill your mind now with the purest form of love that you know.
Let it shine like a ball of light that spreads through you and your energy field.
Settle into that overwhelming sense of happiness and receive it with gratitude.
As you reflect now on this meditation,
Ask yourself how your heart feels differently now than it did when we started.
Repeat the following phrases to yourself.
I am more than my pain.
Love is the most powerful force.
I am capable of healing every day.
I am patient with the healing process.
My body is safe.
I am more than my pain.
Love is the most powerful force.
I am capable of healing every day.
I am patient with the healing process.
My body is safe.
Once more.
I am more than my pain.
Love is the most powerful force.
I am capable of healing every day.
I am patient with the healing process.
My body is safe.
Let these words reverberate through you.
Sink deep inside.
As we begin to come back now,
Remind yourself why you came to this meditation today.
Know that any progress,
Big or small,
Is helpful to releasing emotions that bury themselves deep within us.
Start to wiggle your fingers and toes Sway your hips from side to side Take a deep breath in through the nose And a long,
Slow,
Deep exhale through the nose When you are ready,
Blink your eyes open Thank you,
My loves.
Peace be with you.
