Breathing in and breathing out,
Our bodies hold a story,
One we may not even know.
Societal pressures create unconscious beliefs.
We are told that labels define us,
That we must conform to X,
Y,
Or Z.
We must choose between good or bad,
Right or wrong.
The truth is,
We are infinite beings that shouldn't be told to shrink.
Our energy thrives on passion,
Our purpose on desire.
What we're drawn to in the dark is a portal to our deepest inner knowing.
These places we feel a pull towards aren't meant to be expelled from our minds,
But embraced in a healthy way.
And we ask ourselves,
What is the lesson behind this urge?
And we feel it in its entirety,
Within our own bodies.
We all have an inner animal,
The instinctual body that begs to be liberated and felt.
Imagine this untamed nature in you now.
When that untamed nature is suppressed,
And we don't allow ourselves to feel it,
We say or we do things we aren't proud of.
Once we fully embody our sexuality,
We finally acknowledge the beauty of darkness and light.
Our energy suddenly softens.
Our presence lightens.
And we can finally be our truest self.
But we can't feel the fullness of our pleasure until we work through our pain.
So let's do this now.
Settle in and imagine an animal that you relate to or feel connected to.
Maybe it's a bird,
A lion,
Or a bear.
Fixate on the physical qualities.
What does this animal look like,
Smell like,
Sound like?
How would this feral part of you express itself out loud?
Feel safe to express this sound through the mouth.
As you imagine this environment or habitat that it lives in,
Feel safe to express this sound.
Become this animal.
Allow its qualities to be felt through you.
Now bring your attention to the sensations that arise in your body as you express and release it.
Where in your body do you feel alive?
What parts of the body are producing heat?
Narrow in on this part of you that feels warm,
Excited,
Embodied,
And whole.
Try to expand this sensation throughout your entire being.
Feel how this enlivens you.
Feel how this liberates you.
Feel how it pulls you away from the confines of your psyche.
Your mind has no part,
Only the imagination,
As it helps you thrive and unleash.
Once we learn to express these feelings within ourselves,
It's a lot easier to not feel overwhelmed when they arise in the presence of our relationships.
Say to yourself aloud,
It is safe to express my inner urges in my body.
It is safe to express my inner urges in my body.
It is safe to express my inner urges in my body.
Bring both hands to the heart space now.
Sit with you for a moment.
Feel with every sensation inside of you.
Don't label it.
Just feel it.
Ask yourself if there's anything your body is asking you to recognize.
Listen and receive it.
Listen and receive it.
Now with arms reached out in front of you,
With palms facing up,
Repeat the following.
There is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of in this life.
I heal my shame around sexual urges.
I embody my purpose.
I am safe to fully lean into my desire in a healthy way.
My passions guide me to my deepest truth.
Breathe in this knowing.
Allow any final judgment to slowly fade,
Creating a barrier between you and the harsh guidelines that society has imposed on you.
Remember this feeling of liberation when you feel small,
Closed,
Or contained.
The love you hold inside is limitless and shouldn't be restricted.
Become an example of this radiance.
As you carry this feeling of fullness within you,
Breathe in life.
Breathe out resistance.
Breathe in life.
Breathe out resistance.
Thank you for your practice.
Go in peace,
My friends.
Namaste.
