Introverts have limited space for others, so they need to optimize and protect their energy daily. Today, we create a safe space by slipping into a poetic trance and placing an energetic orb around our auric field. This keeps us from picking up others unwanted energies. I recommend doing this meditation before social interactions or before being in densely populated areas like airports or shopping centers. It will place you in a state of calm and protect your field from unwanted anxiety, leaving you calm, rested, and more yourself.

Today,

We explore how to better conserve the internal state and safeguard your space.

We place an orb of protection around your sensitivity,

A suit of armor around the energy field,

So instead of feeling drained,

We feel enriched and alive in social interactions.

This is Energy Protection for Introverts by Annie Stopak.

Take a moment to feel into the body.

Do a gentle scan from head to toe.

Focus your attention on the face,

Relaxing the muscles there.

Watch as your jaw relaxes,

The teeth gently separate,

Then bring the attention between the eyebrows to the third eye,

And listen to my words.

Meditation holds us beneath a vast,

Wild sea.

The safety net of protection guards us from harm.

Gentle phrases make our bodies feel safe.

Like a deep,

Cool breath,

Words nourish our soul.

Soft sounds regulate our system,

Letting it know we are alive and well.

Like the whistling of wind on the beach,

The waves building and crashing at our feet,

The heart dances a little more freely when we express and we feel.

The ones that are wound up tightly on the inside.

Each crevice within holds little stories,

Deep whispers.

These narratives nestle in the body,

Increasing our sensitivity and awareness.

So we re-regulate and protect ourselves to give our words more space to live,

More space to breathe.

Your energy is sacred,

So we protect our field from lower vibrations that we encounter.

We are so susceptible to containing it,

Making it ours.

So,

We learn to not only let it go,

But to shield ourselves from worldly woes.

We clear out the clutter.

We soften the mind.

We protect,

Rooted in silence,

Strong and free.

Now imagine a bubble of energy around your auric field.

You can give the bubble any color you'd like.

Clear and sparkly,

Blue,

Purple,

Or even green.

Choose a color and imagine the sheen.

Meditate on this bubble,

The movement of the bubble,

The subtle variations.

Now think about how it feels differently inside of it.

Is it warm and cozy?

How does your body feel when you are inside this safe bubble?

Imagine the safest and most comforting place that you know,

Whether it's by the fireplace place in your living room,

In your bed underneath the covers,

Or by the side of a close friend.

Harness that feeling of comfort and place it in the bubble with you.

Ruminate on this feeling,

This sense of safety.

Now repeat the following words.

I am safe.

I have clarity.

I am secure.

I am calm.

I am free of harm.

I am regulated.

I am at ease.

I am safe.

I am clear.

I am secure.

I am free of harm.

I am regulated.

I am at ease.

Now,

As you slip a little bit deeper,

Let yourself become like a bright healing light,

But only let it extend itself to the limits of this bubble you created.

There's a defined boundary within your field.

Notice the subtle differences where your energy ends and everything around you begins.

Make this boundary as clear as humanly possible.

Now extend both arms out at chest level to the right and to the left.

Start to draw a line around the bubble you've created.

Feeling into the perimeter.

Feeling into the energetic edge.

Now begin to rub the palms together gently.

Check in with yourself once more.

How do you feel?

When you are ready,

Slowly open your eyes.

Come back to this protective state whenever you need,

By centering yourself and envisioning this ball of protective light around you.

I recommend this meditation before social interactions with groups.

It will place you in a state of calm and protect your field from further anxiety or harm.
