Just feel the surface your body is on.
Whatever surface that may be.
That is Mother Earth.
That is our feminine side.
Our feminine creative power supporting us from the ground beneath us.
Everything in nature was created by Mother Earth.
And that creativity,
That power of creation comes from our feminine side.
We all have a masculine side too,
But let's focus on our feminine today.
Just settling in and taking in a deep breath,
Breathe in and breathe out.
Allowing the memory of the first time you got your period.
And also remembering the last time you had your period.
Your last period might have been your very last period,
Or it might have just been your most recent one.
Whichever it is,
Just bringing forth into your memory the last time you had your period and the first time you ever had your period.
What are the differences between that?
What are the similarities between the first time and the last time?
Seeing the woman who had the last period.
Noticing how much she's grown up.
Noticing how beautiful she is.
That woman is your wise woman.
Our period comes with so much magic,
Power,
And wisdom.
And that part of us lives within us.
Now allowing that wise woman,
The one who had her last period,
Allowing her to walk back down memory lane and reach the time when you had your first ever period.
How young were you?
Were you confused?
Were you lost?
Or were you excited about the first ever period?
No matter what your experience was,
Allowing your wise woman to enter that scene now.
Wherever that little girl is,
She suddenly notices her wise woman,
Her older self looking at her.
And a wash of calm washes over that little girl.
Your adult wise woman walks towards that little girl,
Bends down,
Looks deep into her eyes and says,
Congratulations!
You have entered womanhood.
You are about to have the best times of your life.
You are entering your most powerful self.
Your most wise self.
And you are getting more and more beautiful every moment.
And your wise woman stands up,
Holds your little girl's hand,
And does a little dance.
Every woman,
Every girl deserves a celebration on the first day of her period.
You deserve a celebration.
And you can still have that celebration.
And as you're dancing with your wise woman self,
As your little girl is dancing with your wise woman self,
You look at each other,
You hug,
And you say,
I love you.
You look down at your womb,
You touch it,
Both of you,
Your adult self and your younger self,
Touches your womb and says,
I love you,
Period.
Welcome,
Welcome,
Welcome.
You have every right to be here,
Just as I have every right to be here.
And I choose to celebrate my womanhood with so much love.
And just relaxing now,
Taking an even bigger,
Deeper breath,
And breathe out.
Coming back to the present moment.
Finding your hand and placing that hand where your womb is.
And with your present self,
Looking down at your womb and saying,
Thank you.
Through you,
The world has life.
If you have children,
You can say,
Thank you.
Through you,
My children has life.
Through you,
I have life.
Just feeling that beauty,
That power you have,
That all women have.
We carry and bring life into this world.
We are a miracle,
And we create miracles.
And it wouldn't have been possible without our period.
So thank you,
My beautiful period.
Thank you for the life this whole world has.
And taking your last final breath,
Breathe in,
And breathe out.
And at your own speed,
Coming back to consciousness.
