Hello and welcome back to an evening meditation.

My name is Christy and I'm excited to have you in this space today.

This will just be an evening letting go and coming back into our centre after perhaps a long day of work or just life in general.

So our intentions for today is to just come back to the breath,

To let go of the day that's just been and to really land in our body.

So just finding a comfortable position,

Whether you're on a bed or a couch,

Finding that position and then closing down through the eyes.

Finding yourself breathing in nice and deep all the way down to the base of our stomach,

Really opening through the breath.

Inhale through the breath,

Inhale,

Holding at the top for a moment and audible exhale out through the mouth,

Sighing away the day.

Again,

Inhaling nice deep through the nose all the way to the base of the stomach,

Holding at the top and pushing out,

Letting go.

And one more beautiful breath all the way into the base of the stomach through the nose,

Holding at the top and sighing that out.

And then just returning back to the rhythm of your normal natural breath and just watching what your breath is doing.

Maybe you can feel it on the upper lip,

Maybe you can sense the breath coming in and out of the nostrils,

Noticing the difference in heat and the difference in cool.

As you continue just observing,

Not to change,

Not to control,

Just simply observing the natural rhythm of our amazing unique bodies.

And if your mind tends to wander,

Just bringing it back to the breath,

Bringing it back to the sound of my voice.

As we slowly start to relax in the shoulders,

Relaxing the muscles around the neck,

Upper back,

And asking all the muscles in the face to just slowly relax,

Letting them go.

Your eyes,

Your eyes,

Your eyes,

Your jaw soft,

Your cheeks,

Lips,

The muscles around your eyes,

Your eyebrows becoming further apart,

Forehead softening.

And then bringing your attention down to the stomach area,

The heart,

Asking all of that area to just soften around the back,

Lower back.

And while you're doing that,

You can just ask if you like any support to come in that's for your higher self to help guide you,

Protect you on this little journey.

And relaxing the hips,

The upper legs,

The thighs,

All the way down to the calves,

The ankles and the feet.

And then just thanking your feet for supporting you all day.

Thank you for carrying all this weight,

This heaviness of my full body.

Wow,

How magical is it that our feet can hold us up,

Support us as they strongly earth on the ground.

And giving your body a bit of a scan now that we've softened the muscles,

Scanning the full body,

Checking in to see if there's any thing that might just need to get let go.

Maybe a conversation that happened today or anything that's just not desirable or desiring you right now.

Maybe it might even just look like that fear,

That worry,

That stress.

And almost as though a beautiful light is just being able to come all the way from the top of your head down your whole body to just let go and help you throw away anything that just isn't sitting right.

And just letting go,

Softening as you let go,

Knowing that you're safe and knowing that you're just letting go to come back to your pure self.

The self that isn't surrounded with fear or stress.

Your pure,

Beautiful,

Shining self.

And we just let go,

Let go,

Let go.

Beautiful work,

Well done.

Taking a nice couple of deep breaths as you keep letting go,

Keep dropping away.

And begin now to re-scan the body.

You might want to sit with this for a bit longer and continue your own work.

But we're going to slowly make our way back by first scanning the body,

Noticing a difference.

Noticing the difference in the way that you feel,

Both physically and mentally.

Just noticing there doesn't need to be any judgment.

Just noticing if there's been a change.

Maybe you can feel some vibration or heat coming off your body.

Or maybe relaxation.

And as you finish your scan,

Slowly coming back into the room,

Thanking anything that you need to thank for being here with us today.

Thank you for being present and listening and going with the flow.

As you start to feel your breath become a little bit deeper,

Back down to the base of the stomach and widening the ribcage.

And allow your breath to just slightly come a little bit deeper,

Using the breath to help guide you and ground you.

And bring in the attentions to your body,

Feeling your shoulders move gently side to side.

Starting to gently wriggle,

Gently coming back into the space,

Moving your hands and your feet.

And at your own time,

Opening up through the eyes,

Allowing if you're in light to softly radiate.

Coming back to the day,

Back to the evening.

And I hope that the rest of your afternoon just flows like meditation.

I hope that your inner beauty and sparkle shines and keeps radiating throughout the night into the next day.

And I hope that you have a peaceful sleep tonight.

To let go and to come back to your pure self.
